#6 Wife was watching Cops, domestic disturbance, police had been there before, prior domestic conviction.

Police show, gal has cuts and bruises. Dude also has cuts and bruises. Thing is, dude looks like he could fold a motorcycle in half, was basically pleading for his life and if he were lying I was buying - gal was hitting him, he was just defending himself. I mentioned to wife, 'If that dude hit her, this wouldn't be a conversation.'

#7 I read recently that statistically speaking, women physically abuse their male partners as often as men physically abuse their female partners. It’s just that men aren’t believed when they complain.

As for going to the hospital, as we see in jhadi attacks, everyone gets sent to the hospital to get checked over, just in case — then 90% of them are released with a couple of bandaids and an ibuprofen.

#9 I remember talking to a police Lieutenant many years ago. He said his soon-to-be ex-wife used to hit him so hard she left bruises. He knew that if he hit her back, she would file a domestic abuse complaint, which would result in him losing his ability to have a firearm. Which would mean the end of his police career.
