#1 Mr. Wife’s mother made Kraft mac’n’cheese when the union was on strike, so I s’pose this is appropriate. The current lot are a very different kind of union member than those steel workers, so the offer may be more symbolic than substantial.

#2 There was a broke, really broke period that I lived on Ramen noodles and peanut butter sandwiches for six months to pay off some debts. 'Twas about ten years before the very *Smell* of Ramen, cooked or not, didn't make me queasy...

#5 Govt. Cheese was/ is the shit. Been along time since I have seen those big blocks they used to give away, but they made the best grilled cheese sandwiches .
