#2 Meh. The Scotch whiskey industry survived just fine before Britain joined Europe. They just don’t want to get used to new paperwork.

#3 Yeah, the UK leaving protectionist marxist EUSSR is a real problem for trading with the rest of the world, with a growing economy.

#4 Had thought my own personal consumption was more than sufficient to sustain the industry.

#8 Well, it sounds that I'm not alone in the 'burg in my devotion to a wee dram.

I am down to my last bottle of Olde Fettercairn however but they went TU a while ago and they're selling off the remainder as it ages.

But there are many more labels to appreciate.

#10 Some Irish Whiskey (proper spelling) might get bitten too - one of the finest drams is from Bushmills, which is in Belfast.
