#5 Y'know what I hate about this case (other than the obvious stuff)? I hate that I knew, after just a few seconds of skimming enraged tweets, before I'd seen a pic or description of either victim or perpetrator, that both of them absotively, posilutely hadda be black (or at least blackish).

And I say that as the annoying a-hole who, when everybody's running the "they didn't say it, so he's gotta be black" tape, mutters, "probably not this time," and turns out to be right. Getting weary of it all. The crime was annoying enough... like, thirty years ago... but this whole nationwide (and then some) complex of ignorance and delusion that's grown up around it? Wouldn't have believed it possible.
