#1 If anything is actually done the Supreme Leader and the head of the IRGC should be targets #1 & #2. All other targets are side effects that would be ignored by #1 and #2.

#2 I really don't understand why the Pentagon seems too act like they are really worried about Iran. Russia has already told them they are on their own if they start shit, we don't need troops on the ground. Iran is nothing but a bully and just needs too be hit in the mouth a couple good times.

#3 I think 3dc has it exactly right. We have to know what targets directly relating to Khamenei and the IRGC are. A few judicious strikes there, while leaving ordinary Iranians alone, might work wonders.

#4 Taking out their nuclear research and production capability should be included in the early (Day 1-3) sorties. Elimination of their naval and air capabilities followed by command & control centers, soon to follow. By day 4 or 5 they should be anxious to discuss terms. Mix it up a bit to make it interesting, C2 one day, research the next.
