#11 I've never been clear on who's a Moslem and who's a Muslim. The former I associate with 7th century caravan raiders and the latter with prison converts to the Nation of Islam.

There is no difference. Both are transliterations of the same word written in the Arabic alphabet, so it is just a matter of personal preference.

You may, if you’ve read older English-language writings on the subject, for example by Winston Churchill, have even seen Musselman. which also means exactly the same thing: a follower of the prophet Mohammed.
