All Sonny has to do is have his lawyers set up a shell company that "agrees to pay." What said shell company will do is make some political contributions and after that you will never hear about this again.

...Perhaps it might be salutary to remind the Resistance that although von Stauffenberg was more than willing to sacrifice himself to kill Hitler, it was less because Der Fuhrer was evil but more because Der Fuhrer was losing.

#8 Cuomo has probably already paid $1-2M in State and Fed taxes on this.

I presume since the Commission has no authority beyond just 'passing a resolution' that this is of essentially no practical consequence.
