#2 You know Dale, some folks revel in the destruction of a country and people. No matter what that government is or does, the general population has the ultimate number of sufferers.

Sure, that country can have the most corrupt values and government on earth. If the citizens actively chose that over some opposing system, it's theirs to deal with.

If an opposing country decides to fracture the evil country's governance and lifestyle to 'protect' a perceived way of life, then show that populace a valid alternative to the choices they've made. They may agree or they may not, again it should be their choice.

Imposition by military force of a supposed "We think it's valid" system usually gets one into trouble with the folks you're trying to impose your will on. The locals, who may have agreed with you in the past, might now view you (and your values) as something much less than what they previously believed. They might even fight back, if nothing else to protect their families and neighbors. At that point, they don't really care about what you're telling them about how awful their leadership is, they just see you breaking their things and killing their people (innocent or not).

If those locals somehow start beating you militarily, you wouldn't be winning hearts and minds for the few folks who still believe in you by redirecting your attacks to the stuff that keeps they and their neighbors housed and fed, unless you're looking to annihilate them too.

#3 Today's shelling highest number ever. Two waves of 70 destructive deliveries. Diplomacy non event. Deaf ears to any expression of solutions. Early efforts of diplomacy brushed aside. Solution, just send more money and arms enduring stagflation here. So the bear plods on to clear all who oppose them. Not the plan at first but now today's reality. Past agreements brushed aside by the West. So a new opposing world order is formed. All at the expense of the West. This because a few clutch the purse strings of power.

3 Russian ploy. Ukrainians rush in. Grab some headlines. Overextended and reserves used up. Now encircled huge loss of life and equipment just sent in destroyed. Pound and ground. Phase one artillery, air force, Drones and electronic warfare. Phase two Physical Russian mop up in so doing Russian loss of life kept to a bare minimum.

#1 Time. Why rush in. Let those who want to leave leave. Holdouts will soon run out of materials of all sorts of things. Let the media bloviate. People will soon tire of Pete and re-Pete. Soon complete encirclement cutting off western supply lines. Time. Putin berated and derided will move steadily on. Then Biden slavish followers blindly proclaim in any discussion because he is buddies with Trump. I might add 10 Wuhan type research labs in Ukraine of which seven Putin has destroyed. I can hear the Democrats and Soros squirm. This is a major financial setback for them and the swamp.
