#2 Now there is a cut and paste job from webpages. Of course you need to know the technology of the weapons so as not to include items which would tell the judge you don't know what the heck you are doing and are as mindless as the 'law' you are trying to defend.

#3 Meanwhile, the smaller gun dealers who focus on rifles have nothing to sell... and no income. Wish more people recognized this as one of Pritzker's goals. His Illinois government has dollars to burn and will keep passing and litigating this kind of legislation while proclaiming its virtue to the foolish of Illinois. Which would be about 2/3 of the upstate population.

#4 The judge's order goes beyond firearms and requires a listing of every component that will be banned as mere possession of components is barred by the law. Pistol grips, BCG, springs, muzzle devices must all be included in the states response.

#5 ..and won't effect the 'small' gun dealers who seem to have no problem in delivering guns to buyers in the small number of zip codes that create all the problems.

#8 I think any ban that includes the trade name of a firearm must be unconstitutional on its face. In other words, there is nothing in the name that could make it legal or not, and if there is nothing else you can point to in terms of features, operations, size, etc. then your ban fails even intermediate scrutiny.
