APU == the Armed Phorces of Ukraine, obviously.

Snark aside, the original article uses the Cyrillic letters BCY (ve es u) which does stand for Armed Forces of Ukraine. No idea where Google translate was going with that.

'Boiler' refers to an encirclement operation. Synonyms are kettle, cauldron. Think of a pot without a lid. The surroundees can either exit thru the open area or stay and get cooked. See Bakhmut for an example in progress.
