#1 He's basically not a bad congresscritter as that type goes. Still, this is an egregiously dumb error. Nowadays you can let an AI enhanced gurgle or Bing search tell you exactly what you are looking at in any given picture before you commit to using it on a mailing.

This is a good indicator of how stupid the "congressional aides," who for ~~better or~~ worse actually run this country, actually are.

#4 82nd Airborne, Bronze Star 99-2004, so he gets a bit of a pass, bus as a civilian he (Wiki cite) "...From 2005 to 2009, he was a security specialist for DynCorp. In 2010, he worked as a maritime security specialist and anti-piracy advisor for Special Tactical Services...." he really should have noticed the error.
