#2 ^ The "it" being sent to the starving presumably refers to the UN secretary general. That may be premature. No reports of cannibalism in Gaza as far as I know.

However, speaking as your Media Advisor, a little cannibalism might be a great card to play. Cholera?
Hah! Nothing says humanitarian catastrophe like eating your own dead. Let's add some poignancy: a family of four sitting in a bombed out building, gnawing the remains of the recently deceased, their faces smudged with dust from the rubble and grease from the... well, let's just leave that there. CNN would eat that up.
