The problem is what that is going to cost you in Ukrainians. At the onset, someone snarked this was a big Soviet army fighting a smaller Soviet army. That really has not changed despite NATO putting their finger on the scale.

The longer this conflict grinds on, the more useless it seems. Maybe because I just came from a gathering where someone sang Christmas in the Trenches, maybe I'm just tired of people killing each other.
