- in the Kupyansk direction, as a result of fire damage by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, more than 40 Ukrainian servicemen, three armored combat vehicles and three pickup trucks were destroyed;

- in the Krasno-Limansky direction, four assault detachments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the LPR and DPR were attacked. Enemy losses amounted to more than 120 Ukrainian servicemen killed and wounded, four armored combat vehicles, three pickup trucks and two cars. In addition, a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed in the area of ????the settlement of Stelmakhovka;

- in the Donetsk direction, Russian troops continued offensive operations, as a result of a complex fire engagement of the enemy in the DPR, up to 90 Ukrainian servicemen, two tanks, five armored combat vehicles and seven vehicles were destroyed;

- in the South-Donetsk direction, more than 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles and three pickup trucks were destroyed by artillery strikes on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR;

- in the Kramatorsk region, positions were opened and two launchers of the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system were destroyed, from which shelling of settlements in the DPR was carried out;

- missile forces and artillery hit 72 artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 104 districts per day;

— four depots of artillery ammunition and military-technical property of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed in the Zaporozhye region. A warehouse of weapons and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed near the village of Tyaginka in the Kherson region;

- Air defense systems shot down 13 Ukrainian UAVs in the LPR, DPR and Zaporozhye region per day.

- On December 31, the Russian army launched a massive missile attack on military and industrial facilities on the territory of Ukraine.

At least eight targets were hit in Kyiv, including a hotel where foreign advisers were based and CHPP-5.

- In Khmelnytsky, a rocket hit the location of the regiment of the Special Operations Forces responsible for terrorist attacks and murders in the Donbass.

The second goal was the storage of jet-powered attack drones designed to strike at Russian air bases.

- In the Starobelsk direction, missile strikes hit temporary enemy personnel deployment points.

The targets of the attacks were the location of the mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kupyansk and the unit of the Ukrainian National Guard in Liman.

- At least six hits fell on Nikolaev. A number of objects were hit in the city, including the location of personnel.

The Kulbakino suburban airfield, used by Ukrainian forces for military purposes, was also attacked.

“Unfortunately, there was a tragedy. On New Year's Eve, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a strike from the HIMARS MLRS on the location of Russian troops in Makeevka.

Air defense destroyed only part of the missiles. As a result of the hit, about 70 Russian servicemen were killed, more than 100 people were injured.

- In the Lugansk region, Ukrainian formations launched a missile attack on a hospital located in Pervomaisk.

As a result of the shelling, the building was seriously damaged, there are wounded among the staff. Six people died.

- The RF Armed Forces delivered another massive strike using the Geran-2 kamikaze UAV on energy facilities in Kyiv.

Despite the strengthening of the air defense of the capital, Russian drones hit the planned targets. The city is experiencing severe power outages.
