[Townhall] Imagine literally being upset about your state government preventing you from physically removing the genitals from your minor child. It’s difficult to do, I know, because the very idea of butchering the body of a child is foreign to you, but there are a lot of people wildly upset by just that idea. Just as there is a slice of the public, small as it is, demanding Bud Light completely destroys itself in the name of "tolerance." Then there are the wealthy white liberals who, as if it were a sexual fetish of theirs, demand they and their children, and by extension everyone’s children, be indoctrinated into the idea that they are responsible for things done by people who aren’t them that happened long before they were born. You really have to wonder what the hell is wrong with these people.
I get it, different strokes for different folks. But there are some things I will never understand. I know there are some adults who need to be humiliated sexually in order to enjoy themselves. I don’t really care what grown adults do in the privacy of their own homes, as long as who they do it with is of age and willing. I don’t have to explain their lives to God, they do.
But we aren’t dealing with people who want to keep their fetishes to themselves, we’re dealing with morons and narcissists who demand everyone participate in their manias, and that we be grateful for it. Absolutely not.
Chris Hayes,
...the fortyish son of a former almost-Jesuit community organizer who studied Foucault at Brown and developed a career of criticizing Liberals and the Democratic Party from the position of the intellectual Left...
the MSNBC personality most likely to be mistaken for Rachel Maddow from behind (or front, for that matter), is wildly upset that parents will not be allowed to remove the penises from little boys in the state of Florida. Imagine being upset by that.
He has three children with his law professor wife who are exactly the right age for snipping...
"The law DeSantis signed in Florida banning care for trans kids is despicable and a frontal assault on the vaunted ’parental rights’ he and his ideological cohort have been screaming about for years," the bowl-cut boob felt compelled to tweet at the world. "In Florida, you no longer get to make healthcare decisions for your own child: Ron DeSantis makes them. It doesn't matter what you think is best for your kids, Ron tells you."

Intellectually the thing I find most appalling is the Permanence -- we do not have any medical skill to undo the damage. The fact that children are too young to make such a decision is the rotting cherry on this excrement sundae...
I thought about having a tattoo many years ago and the thought 'Would I still want this thirty (30) years from now?" dissuaded me. What if a child really, really wanted to grow up and be a Pirate, everybody likes Pirates right, and wanted his right hand removed so a hook prostheses could be implanted. Would one of these ghouls perform the procedure?

^ Absolutely. I never got a tattoo because it was permanent, and my tastes would inevitably change. Genital mutilation? The parents should have it done FIRST

From the piece:
Buttigieg ran as something of a moderate in 2020, but Wired lets us know that his “father was a renowned Marxist scholar” — it can finally be said! — and that he “was himself a devotee of Senator Bernie Sanders as a young man.”
Whatever devotion he felt toward the Vermont socialist disappeared the night Buttigieg lost to Sanders in the Nevada caucuses, when he gave a blistering anti-Bernie speech — and won himself Biden’s favor.

If their "intelligence" isn't suited to making practical decisions, then I would submit that their intelligence is of no functional use, and should be disregarded. Einstein was smart, but I wouldn't want him flying a plane or doing surgery.
Dirty Harry used to say "A man's gotta know his limitations."

[Hot Air] Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, suffers from PTSD but not really. Whatever it is he suffers from, though he calls it PTSD, was brought on by Donald Trump and the death threats he would receive after a mean tweet against him was posted by Trump. Because, of course it’s Trump’s fault. Never mind Khan received threats before Trump was president. He’s pointing a finger at Trump. And, you know which finger it is.
The far-left progressive considers his mental anguish to be PTSD but he doesn’t want to sound like a total jerk and have others make comparisons to real PTSD, like that which is suffered by members of the military and first responders. He’s a bureaucrat, the mayor of one of the world’s largest cities, and things like personal threats come with the territory in today’s world. The interesting thing is that he’s talking about the mental and emotional difficulty he is having as he serves in his capacity as mayor, yet he is running for re-election. Not only is the Labour mayor for London since 2016 seeking a third term next year, he hopes to serve six, count ’em, six terms. He wants the job but he just wants to whine about it when it gets difficult, apparently.

Hello Trailing Wife, Fred, Skidmark, SteveS and all at Rantburg. Thought you'd like to see a missive from Australia.
Dr Aseem Malhotra, UK cardiologist, is touring as of next weekend to sound the alarm (again) over the gene-vaccines which have devastated the lives of so many people

Dearest Anon1, we are always happy to hear from you, proving our boast of correspondents from far beyond America’s borders. ;-) We worried when you were silent for so long after discussing purchase of a used ventilator for sharing with your neighbours, should it become needed during the Covid panic.
John Kerry is targeting family farms. The Biden regime’s climate czar says farms produce too much greenhouse gases. He wants that to stop in order to combat the climate "crisis."
Farms also happen to produce food. Kerry is not worried about that. The global elites are not worried about that.
Recently, the Netherlands announced they were shutting down family farms to combat global warming. Tough luck if you happen to own one of the farms or work at the farms. This insanity comes at the same time Europe is seeing it highest inflation in decades.

Mainor expressed her support for school choice and called attention to the amount of funds allocated for assisting migrants instead of local schools

[IsraelTimes] Yet another round underlined the overreliance on fire power and Iron Dome. The IDF doesn’t want to retake Gazoo, but has a ’Concept for Victory’ that puts troops in enemy territory
Two Israeli officers made the rare decision to issue a stark warning in an official IDF journal. Israel’s military, they cautioned, is at a dead end.
Writing in the wake of a series of three "deterrence operations," Brig. Gen. Tamir Yadai and Lt. Col. Eran Ortal pointed out that the conflicts were part of a predictable and worrying pattern: Israel’s air force carries out an opening strike that kills a senior commander and temporarily knocks the enemy off balance; Israel decides to continue the operation; the IDF then struggles to keep pressure on the enemy, who recovers and fights back; Jerusalem turns to the international community to help bring the fight to a close; Israel enjoys a limited period of quiet before the next round.

[News With Views] There are a lot of voices out there that are calling for the American way of life to be destroyed for a socialist/communist way of life. They are demanding equality for all. The big problem is we already have equality for all but what they want is equality in the end, everybody is equal in housing, income, and jobs, and that has never worked in the history of man. Too many people do not want to work so that means the ones that do work have what they have earned taken away from them and given to the lazy who refuse to work. That is not the American way. Never has been. Our Founders believed that a person should be able to keep what he has earned and passed down to his children.
Just recently our resident communist dirtbag, Bernie Sanders, has called for the confiscation of all income over a billion dollars so the ’less fortunate’ can have a better life. I do not want to sound insensitive but let the less fortunate do what the billionaire did so they can have a better life. If they do not want to put out that amount of effort then they get to live in poverty all their life. That choice is entirely on the individual. Our Founders believed in individual freedoms. The harder you work the better life you can make for you and your family. We all have equal opportunities in life. We can take advantage of that to better ourselves or we can ignore those opportunities and live a mediocre life. The people that are ambitious should not have what they worked hard for be taken away to fund lazy people.
This present administration has taken it upon itself to attempt to dictate what you do with your life. What you can eat, what you can drive if they let you drive, what kind of stove you can have, and if you can even cool your house in the summertime. This is not the free America I grew up in. Both political parties have taken us done a path towards communism and we have allowed them to take us too far. The Democrats do not even hide their intent. They are hell-bent on turning America into a third-world nation. They have run up the debt like there is no bottom to the barrel. We give money to every nation but ignore the needs of the American people. Too many of our Vets are homeless, and too many of our elderly and young children go hungry every day but we fund the pensions of the citizens of Ukraine! When did we start doing that?

No it won't, not in its current form. Take a good look at the flag and count those stars. I'll bet there will be less than 50 on the next flag in 10-15 years.
