[GatewayPundit] Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was kicked off the House floor by the Sergeant of Arms on Tuesday afternoon.
After surviving a lawfare impeachment trial two years ago, Paxton really angered the Texas RINOs after he announced a run for US Senate as Cornyn’s challenger.
Tuesday is deadline day to take up Senate bills in the Texas House and instead of dealing with priorities, the Texas RINOs are using their time and resources to remove Ken Paxton.
It is unclear what led to Paxton’s removal. I'm a thinkin' it has something to do with above paragraph 2, sentence 2...

Noted, many articles about this incident are using the "... a staunch ally of formerPresident Donald Trump" in the subsection titled "Paxton’s Senate Bid and Intra-Party Tensions".
Given Trump wasn't ousted over the weekend, was it a MSM
Freudian slip?
And yesterday he shocked the entire world by shutting down State Department processing of all student visa applications, since that judge put a hold on shutting down Harvard’s access to the program. Harvard’s peers in the ed. biz are going to br pissed deeply unhappy with them.
[NYPOST] The Trump administration is planning to cancel all remaining federal contracts with Harvard University, a day after the president mused about taking billions in federal funding that had been awarded to the Ivy League school — which he branded ''very antisemitic'' — and giving it to trade schools.
The fresh cuts — believed to be worth roughly $100 million — were requested in a memo fired off to federal agencies early Tuesday, according to a copy obtained by The Post. The administration had already frozen an estimated $3.2 billion in contracts and grants with Harvard.
The letter, signed by the General Services Administration's Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner Josh Gruenbaum, instructs the agencies to ''seek alternative vendors'' for services they were previously paying Harvard to complete.

Replace Antisemitic with Anti-Black and there would not be any push back.
Either way, racism is racism and not 1 penny (a nickel now) of taxpayer $$$$ should ever be given to any establishment, or institution that condones or supports any form of racism. Or allows groups that promote one color over another.

Harvard will also be hit by legislative changes assuming the HR 1 (OBBBill) passes. This increases the tax on income earned by endowments (currently there is a 1.4% tax on this and, in Harvard's case they would likely be paying about 10%).

[NYPOST] Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz ...Congresswoman from Florida, the abrasive chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. She has been a politician since 1992, and prior to that was in training as a political science major. Her primary accomplishment seems to be that she's Jewish... , D-Fla., rejected a New York Times
...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... report that included research comparing the Democratic Party to ''slow'' and ''passive'' animals, telling CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... on Tuesday that she was worried about ''human beings.''
'''Republicans are seen as apex predators like lions, tigers and sharks, beasts that take what they want when they want it. Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... are typically tagged as tortoises, slugs, or sloths: slow, plodding, passive,''' CNN host John Berman said, quoting a New York Times report that highlighted Democratic researcher Anat Shenker-Osorio's findings on how people view the Democratic and Republican parties.
''And then a little bit later there was a respondee who said the Democrats are like deer in headlights. How is it that you think that the Democratic Party has earned these descriptions?''
''I'm not focused on the animals that some New York Times news hound compares the political parties to. My constituents are human beings, and the human beings that I represent are facing devastating health care cuts, the most significant health care cuts that have been ever handed down by any administration,'' Schultz responded.
The New York Times reported on Sunday that the party was still struggling with its image after former Vice President Kamala Harris Former Oakland mayor Willie Brown's' former mistress ' loss.
A Democratic man from Georgia who participated in the focus group and was the one who described the Democratic Party as a ''deer in headlights'' went further to describe the state of the party.
[NYPOST] Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis accused congressional Republicans Tuesday of ''betrayal'' by failing to codify spending cuts pursued by the Elon Musk-guided Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
''Elon Musk took massive incoming — including attacks on his companies as well as personal smears — to lead the effort on DOGE,'' DeSantis, who was elected to Congress three times before resigning in 2018 to pursue a successful gubernatorial run, lamented on X. ''He became public enemy #1 of legacy media around the world.
''To see Republicans in Congress cast aside any meaningful spending reductions (and, in fact, fully fund things like USAID) is demoralizing and represents a betrayal of the voters who elected them.''

Truth. I am VERY disappointed in the House and Senate. Make a list and throw the bums out. And that explicitly includes all Rinos. And what the heck happened with the Fort Knox 'audit'? I smell a rat.

Failing to codify DOGE cuts: ''Betrayal of the voters'
I agree with you Mike. It might also be why we've not heard much from Musk lately.
Results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. EST and aggregated from the most recent polls from the sources listed in the methodology section below. Think we're missing something? Email us.
The congressional approval rating indicates public satisfaction in the job performance of the members of the United States Congress. It is the percentage of people polled who responded favorably toward the work of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
Musk said last week on a Tesla earnings call that his time spent running the so-called Department of Government Efficiency will drop significantly beginning in May, and that he plans to spend just a “day or two per week” on the government effort.
The New York Post reported Tuesday that Musk was no longer working out of the West Wing. But his DOGE lieutenants were still working in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, which is on the White House campus.
Musk said in his Tesla earnings call last week that he would continue work on DOGE “for as long as the president would like me to do so, and as long as it’s useful.”
“But starting next month, I’ll be allocating far more of my time to Tesla now that the major work of establishing the Department of Government Efficiency is done,” said Musk.

GOP doesn't want to rock the boat because they TOO are in on the grift. Not all grift is "illegal", but most of it is absolutely NOT in the best interests of their constituents...and the GOP doesn't really give a damn about their constituents.

No... They needed to leave the DOGE cuts out. They are now going back to vote on them individually. This was a brilliant move. Now the no votes cant be masked with some other objection to the big bill. It will force those that lived in the corruption and their masters into the light when they vote no. When they begin to object DOGE has all the data on who got the money and their corruption will be plastered for all to see. This is a worst case event for the left and right that lived this corruption... It will be great!

[NYPOST] Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) officially threw his hat in the ring for the 2026 Alabama governor's race, confirming months of speculation that he had his sights set on the office.
''A few years ago, I decided to give back to this great country and fight. President Trump was really behind me in doing the Senate race, he's been behind me ever since, and today I will announce I will be the future governor of the great state of Alabama,'' Tuberville announced on Fox News' ''The Will Cain Show.''
''I'm a football coach, I'm a leader, I'm a builder, I'm a recruiter, and we're going to grow Alabama. We're going to bring manufacturing to this state. We're going to stop this illegal immigration,'' he added. ''We're going to make education better again.''
[NYPOST] Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... can't figure out why they're hemorrhaging young male voters — and party leaders are so baffled that they've thrown $20 million toward studying their predicament.
I'll give them the punchline for free: It's all the man-bashing.
Progressives waged war on toxic masculinity
...the liberal concept (the science is settled!) that men are knuckle dragging bastards who spend all their time watching football, drinking beer, burping, farting, and thumping their women. This doesn't apply if the men are girls transitioning to boys, or boys transitioning to girls, or either transitioning to sheep... , insisting that we should ''believe all women'' and claiming that red meat is a right-wing thing. Is it any wonder men have said ''no thanks''?
Despite the obvious, the Democratic Party has reportedly poured eight figures into an effort dubbed SAM, short for ''Speaking with American Men: A Strategic Plan'' — probing men as though they are some alien species.
The report, according to the New York Times
...which still proudly claims Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize... , promises to ''study the syntax, language and content that gains attention and virality in [young male] spaces.'' Sounds like a lot of gobbledygook.
Dems like Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, Governor Gavin Governor Hair Gel Newsom ...mayor of San Franciscoas it transformed itself into Poopville, currently governor of California as it transforms itself into Cinderland... and Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear reportedly discussed how to reach the average American man at the Future Forward PAC conference held at— the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California.
What they could have done instead is listen to other people in their own party.

That strategy is not going to sale well with their credentialed, wine box sipping, cat lady demographic that is their remaining core constituency, outside the usual grafters, thieves and pedophiles.

Yeah, and stop nominating women just because they're women. And stop nominating pussies like Tim Walz for the woman's running mate. But that's likely too tall an order for today's Democrat Party.

Re-release of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on Father's Day gives a huge insight into the realization by Hollywood that the kind of movie that men want requires them to reach back to the culture/attitudes considered normal in 1989-but that they get it is a good sign.
