[BREITBART] Representative Jamie Raskin ...hanky-headed Congressman-for-life from Maryland's 8th congressional district since 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, he served in the Maryland State Senate from 2007 to 2016. Raskin co-chairs the Congressional Freethought Caucus, which pushes (and defines) reason and science. In 2017 the newly-elected Raskin and several other members of the House objected to the certification of the 2016 presidential election because of (muh!) Russia. He was the lead impeachment manager for the second impeachment of President Donald Trump. Raskin was one of seven Democrats appointed to pack the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 Capitol attack by Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Before his election to Congress he was just another lefty law professor.... (D-MD) said Friday on CNN ...formerly the Cable News Network, now who know what it might stand for... 's ''The Agenda'' that Elon Musk's government contracts should be cancelled and President Donald Trump ...Never got invited to a P.Diddy party... should be impeached.''
Host Kasie Hunt said, ''Elon Musk, do you think that this back and forth with the president has made it more or less likely the president's agenda will get passed? And should Democrats ...every time you hear the phrase white people, white supremacy, white anything but paint, you're listening to a Democrat. Ask him/her/it to reimagine something for you; they do that a lot, though not well. They can hear a dog whistle a mile or two away. They invented the spoils system and Tammany Hall, and inspired the addition of the word (Thomas) Nasty to the English language. They want to stop continental drift and repeal the law of unintended side effects... be embracing Elon Musk right now?''
Raskin said, ''So first of all, the wretched, ugly, gargantuan bill that they're trying to drive through, Congress will throw 14 million Americans off of their Medicaid and drive millions of Americans off of their SNAP benefits, which is nutrition, which is food for people. Elon Musk called it a disgusting abomination because of the fact that it also will add two and a half to $3 trillion to the national debt, and he's right about that. According to the Congressional Budget Office, it's going to be somewhere in that neighborhood. I think it's all to the good that he is forcing members to really focus on what they're voting on here.''
He added, ''As for the for tit for tat between Trump and Musk, all I can say is one says the other guy should be impeached, the other says the other guy's billions of dollars of government contracts should be suspended and I think I agree with both of them.''
Hunt said, ''You heard it here first, Donald Trump should be impeached.''

Sedition is overt conduct, such as speech or organization, that tends toward rebellion against the established order. Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and incitement of discontent toward, or insurrection against, established authority.
[BIZPACREVIEW] Far-left Rep. Pramila Jayapal has begun proudly hosting ''shadow hearings'' about the deportation of alleged illegal alien gang bangers.
Titled ''Kidnapped and Disappeared: Trump's Lawless Third Country Disappearances,'' the first hearing was held Friday:
''Since taking office in January, President Trump has shown nothing but utter contempt for the Constitution,'' Jayapal said in a statement. ''He has ignored and decimated the traditional role of Congress and defied and defamed the courts, doing untold damage to our democracy.''
''He has attacked the rights of all people, starting with and especially immigrants colonists. In his obsession to deport as many immigrants colonists—lawful and undocumented—as he can, he has violated multiple constitutional rights,'' she added.
Her proud touting of these shadow hearings prompted massive blowback from the right on social media, with ''All That Remains'' singer Phil Labonte tweeting, ''arrest her and her conspirators.''

[DEADLINE] A federal judge on Sunday declined to issue an order to prohibit Donald Trump ...Never got invited to a P.Diddy party... from removing three board members of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, as the administration seeks to zero out funding for public media stations, PBS and NPR.
U.S. District Judge Randolph Moss wrote that the CPB had failed to meet the threshold to issue a preliminary injunction to halt Trump's effort to remove Sony's Tom Rothman, as well as Laura Ross and Diane Kaplan.
But Moss' ruling does not mean that Trump will be able to wrest control of the board. The judge also cautioned that Trump could not unilaterally appoint their replacements, and noted that the corporation had recently changed its bylaws that restricts the president's actions.

Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
