[Breitbart] Hundreds of Caribbean migrants trying to reach the U.S. border walked through an immigration checkpoint operated by Mexican authorities. The group is trying to reach the border city of Reynosa before crossing the Rio Grande to Texas.
The incident took place on Saturday morning north of the city of San Fernando, Tamaulipas, approximately 80 miles from Texas. Between 400-500 migrants, primarily from Haiti, were traveling from Veracruz to Reynosa when Mexican authorities turned back their buses. Rather than stop, the migrants walked toward the rural city where they rested and renewed their march the same day.
The group walked north and as they got close to a federal checkpoint, they stopped and held a prayer service with local church leaders. After, the migrants walked past the checkpoint expecting authorities to try to stop them, however, officials stood down.
Several miles down the road, another group of federal authorities managed to forcibly stop some of the migrants by loading them onto vans bound for Veracruz, where migrants interviewed by Breitbart Texas claimed they were released. It remains unclear how many Caribbean migrants were taken to Veracruz.

[Breitbart] President Joe Biden’s administration is bringing Afghans to the United States who are carrying viruses such as measles, malaria, tuberculosis, as well as the Chinese coronavirus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
On Monday, the CDC announced that the thousands of Afghans continuing to be brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration for permanent resettlement will be required to be vaccinated against measles though there has not been any indication that they are likewise mandated to take the coronavirus vaccine.
CDC officials wrote in a release:
As of September 20, 2021, CDC has been notified by public health departments of 16 measles cases among the evacuees. All patients confirmed to have measles have been isolated and provided care, and their contacts have been quarantined. Contacts who were not immune were given the MMR vaccine or, if not vaccine-eligible, immunoglobulin. [Emphasis added]
Evacuees who are in the United States are required to be vaccinated with MMR and complete a 21-day quarantine from the time of vaccination at U.S. ‘Safe Haven’ designated locations, such as military bases. [Emphasis added]
The move comes as there have been measles outbreaks at a number of U.S. military bases where the Biden administration is temporarily housing tens of thousands of Afghans. The military bases where Afghans are staying include:

Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico

In addition to measles, CDC officials revealed that some Afghans brought to the U.S. have spurred outbreaks of viruses such as varicella, mumps, tuberculosis, malaria, leishmaniasis, hepatitis A, and coronavirus.
Thousands of Afghans who remain at overseas military bases will be required to take a measles vaccine and wait 21 days before being brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration.
Biden has said he hopes to resettle about 95,000 Afghans across the U.S. over the next 12 months. In a 21-day period from August to September, Biden brought more than 48,000 Afghans to the U.S. for resettlement — a population more than four times that of Jackson, Wyoming.

[Sudan Tribune] Islamist officers in the Sudanese army tried to seize power in Khartoum on Tuesday morning but their attempted coup has been foiled. Military and civilian Sudanese officials confirmed the aborted coup but until now the transitional government did not issue a statement about the situation.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Member of the Sovereign Council Mohammed al-Faki who is also its front man issued a short call on social media to the Sudanese to take to the street to "protect the democratic transition."
Later, in a second post, he reassured the public saying the situation is under control.
Sources say the military intelligence identified the putschist elements in several corps of the Sudanese army and arrested them except the Armoured Corp.
The headquarters of this army is now surrounded by the army because some of them are retrenched inside its building. Some reports speak about ongoing negotiations with them to convince them to surrender.
Names of several Islamists officers in the army have been circulated but there are no official confirmations.
The military component in the transitional government did not purge the army from the Islamists officers hoping that the esprit de corps would prevail and support the democratic change.
The coup aimed at controlling the Sudanese Army General Command, the official radio, television buildings, and the bridges linking the three parties of the capital Khartoum.
[Sudan Tribune] The Sudanese government officially confirmed that all the military involved in the failed coup have been arrested and the situation is under control.
"Today Tuesday, September 21 at dawn, the army put down an attempted coup by a group of officers affiliated with the remnants of the former regime," said Information Minister Hamza Balloul in a press statement released today.
"The army thwarts a coup attempt, more details later," said the army spokesman Tahir Abu Haja in a very short statement.
Balloul added that the coup plotters military and civilians have been arrested including those who were in the Armoured Corps in the Shagara suburb south of Khartoum.
The putschist elements in the last to surrender.
Military sources identified the military involved in the foiled coup as Islamist officers affiliated with the former regime.
Local media said 18 militaries have been arrested, including Maj-Genl Abdel Basset Bakraoui, who is likely to be the commander of the operation.
The Sudan Tribune learned that Bakraoui had been in Cairo for several months. He is suspected to have been planned the operation there with the Sudanese Islamist residing in Egypt.
The Sudanese Minister of Information stressed that the components of the transitional government are working in complete coordination, adding that the situation is "under complete control."
About three o’clock in the morning, the army thwarted an attempt by the putschists to take control of the radio and TV stations, which are located side-by-side.
Pro-democracy activists already launched a campaign against the head of the Transitional Sovereign Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan saying he rejected calls to purge the army from the Islamist officers.
A military official said an unspecified number of troops from the armored corps were behind the attempt and that they tried to take over several government institutions but were stopped in their tracks. He said they had aimed to seize the military headquarters and the state television.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the media, said over three dozen troops, including high-ranking officers, have been arrested. He did not provide further details, saying that a military statement would be released shorty.

According to the source, the Boko Haram commander, an inmate of the prison, had taken up the role of Chief Imam at the correctional centre, leading other Moslems to prayer.
"It was Boko Haram turbans that broke into Kabba prison," the source said.
"The Chief Imam for the inmates is apparently a Boko Haram commander, and when the button men arrived, they handed him an auto assault rifle."
Just a week ago, SaharaReporters reported how some prisoners button men attacked the correctional centre in Kabba, freeing inmates.
The prisoners who were in their hundreds were said to have escaped after the button men attacked the prison located along Kabba-Lokoja highway late on Sunday, September 12.
Though security officers comprising 15 soldiers, 10 coppers, and 10 armed guards of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) were at the facility at the time of the attack, the button men were able to break into it.
They killed a soldier and a policeman during the attack, Sola Fasure, media adviser to the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, had said in a statement.
The assailants thereafter set the prisoners free.
The early morning downpour on Monday aided their escape as the building housing the inmates was reportedly submerged by flood.
According to the statement, the Kabba custodial facility had 294 inmates as of the time of the attack, and only 28 inmates did not escape.
It said many of the 266 inmates initially unaccounted for were able to escape after the button men used explosives to destroy three sides of the perimeter fence.
Later, Sesan Nihi, the Kogi correctional service front man said no fewer than 114 inmates from the Kabba Correctional Centre had voluntarily returned or been rearrested.
Nihi was quoted as saying, "We have about 114 inmates back now. Some of the inmates returned themselves but I cannot give a definite figure for that. In fact, two just returned not too long ago. Some of the inmates were brought back by their parents.
"We have a search party with other security agencies to capture the remaining inmates."

[AnNahar] The options remaining for thousands of Haitianmigrants colonists straddling the Mexico-Texas border are narrowing as the United States government ramps up to an expected six expulsion flights to Haiti Tuesday and Mexico began busing some away from the border.
More than 6,000 Haitians and other migrants colonists had been removed from an encampment at Del Rio, Texas, U.S. officials said Monday as they defended a strong response that included immediately expelling migrants colonists to their impoverished Caribbean country and faced criticism for using horse patrols to stop them from entering the town.
But only a portion of those removed were actually sent back to Haiti, the rest apparently being sent elsewhere in the U.S. to be processed.
That was enough for some Haitian migrants colonists to return to Mexico, while others struggled to decide on which side of the border to take their chances.

But the news Thursday that a Muslim named Mustafa Mousab Alowemer pleaded guilty to a jihad plot to bomb a Pittsburgh church, the Legacy International Worship Center, got little notice. That's no surprise: the story doesn't fit the narrative of either Biden's handlers or the establishment media, which is that there is no significant jihad terror threat, and a much bigger problem is the "Islamophobia" of Trump’s bloodthirsty MAGA legions. Back in the real world, the guilty plea is a small reminder of what the real threat really is.
There is another reason why both the administration and the media would rather have this story go away, amid the chaos at the Southern border and just after the catastrophe in Afghanistan: Alowemer, 23, came to the United States from Syria as a refugee when he was 18. Yet he doesn't exactly fit the image of a grateful refugee, eager to become a part of our glorious multicultural mosaic. He told investigators, according to the criminal complaint against him, that "his motivation to detonate a device at the Church was to support the cause of ISIS and to inspire other ISIS sympathizers in the United States to join together and commit similar acts in the name of ISIS." He added that he "also targeted the Church, which he described as Christian and Nigerian, in order to "take revenge for our [ISIS] brothers in Nigeria." Christians are suffering fierce persecution from Muslims in Nigeria, but as far as Alowemer was concerned, this meant only that they were infidels at war with Allah, and he thirsted for revenge.
The young jihadi wanted to maximize the casualty count. The Associated Press reported that Alowemer had "detailed plans" to bomb the church, including a particularly cruel touch: "Federal prosecutors said at the plea hearing that he talked about potentially planting a second explosive device, timing the detonation to coincide with when first responders would begin to arrive."
The criminal complaint also inadvertently reveals the cluelessness of the FBI regarding the beliefs, motives, and goals of Islamic jihadists. It states:
In or around April 2018, the FBI identified a social networking account with display name "Mustafa Alowemer" as likely belonging to Alowemer. Notably, the "Intro" section of the social networking account included a phrase in Arabic text that an FBI linguist translated as "hoping to Allah that he dies in a way that does not require the traditional funeral cleansing and burial rituals." This same FBI linguist interpreted this statement to mean that Alowemer wanted to die by being blown up, which would render traditional Islamic funeral rituals unnecessary or impossible.
Well, yes, but the FBI linguist seems to have omitted the key point: In a tradition, Muhammad ordered that the bodies of the martyrs are not to be washed, as the blood and gore with which they may be covered is attractive to the virgins of paradise. Alowemer didn't necessarily have to be blown up, but simply to die in the process of killing infidels, as the Qur'an promises paradise to those who "kill and are killed" for Allah (9:111). If Alowemer had succeeded in mounting his attack and the FBI was there expecting him to try to blow himself up, they could have been completely wrongfooted. Expect the tempo of these attacks to increase over the next year.

The suspect, identified as Samer Ali, 29, was caught on Monday when government forces raided his hideout in Polomolok, a town in the foothills of an imposing mountain range in South Cotabato province, police said.
Arresting officers seized a grenade from the suspect, who is also being sought for murder, according to provincial police commander Col. Jemuel Siason, who did not provide details about the alleged crime.
The man was suspected of "facilitating the recruitment for new members of the Islamic State" in Polomolok and the nearby municipality of T’boli, Siason told BenarNews.
"We surveilled his movements prior to the arrest," Siason said. "He is now detained."
Officials said Islamic snuffies frequently fled to the jungles and mountains of South Cotabato to serve as hideouts from military operations.

On the morning of September 19, protesters from the temporary housing units near the Nahr al-Bared refugee camp broke into the UNRWA construction site office, causing severe damage to the premises and to seven Agency vehicles. No one was injured.
"This incident came in the aftermath of a series of thefts in our installations in the camp over the last few weeks. Paleostinian faction leaders condemned the incident and the thefts and pledged their support to ensure these incidents would not occur again," Lazzarini said in a statement.
