While Athens waits for more aid from the European Union, the country continues to be administered in the same old careless manner. Corrupt politicians and the rich continue to help themselves to Greece's funds, and little is being done about it.
How can someone who has declared an annual income of 25,000 ($32,400) transfer 52 million abroad? What kind of supplementary income must an individual have who, according to his tax returns, earned 5,588 in 2010, yet still managed to move 19.8 million abroad? And how can it be that a Greek citizen sequesters 9.7 million abroad although he supposedly earned exactly zero euros?
These are the questions that tax fraud investigators will have to ask of a number of individuals whose identity has so far only been made public in the form of initials. For instance, a "G. D." stands at the top of a list with the names of 54,000 Greek citizens who relocated major assets abroad between 2009 and 2011. The list stems from the Greek central bank and is now in the hands of the Finance Ministry.

Spusoth Spawn of the Visigoths8075, Hello!. I do the same to get the feel for a people. So much hatred for others abounds. They say they hate Americans but I believe they hate their neighbors more. I know the Arab world is normally a payoff situation to do any business. We know China has massive corruption. I am saying that in the rest of the world this is how things are done. People fear Putin but the leadership now has it made. Many are getting wealthy that are connected. They all want this to continue everywhere.
[Times of Israel] Jewish groups protest wave of anti-Semitic messages
A French nonprofit said it was considering making complaints against some Twitter users following an kaboom of French-language anti-Semitic messages.
SOS Racisme, a Gay Paree-based anti-discrimination organization, made the statement on its website after the phrase UnBonJuif on Oct. 10 became the third most popular hashtag among French Twitter users.
Literally meaning "a good Jew," it served thousands of Twitter users to enter what the French daily Le Monde termed "a competition of anti-Semitic jokes."
One Twitter account registered to the username "Marcel Leblanc" posted a picture of an emaciated Jewish woman taken in a Nazi concentration camp as his or her interpretation of what "a good Jew" meant. Others tweeted that "a good Jew is a dead Jew."
Jonathan Hayoun, president of the Union of French Jewish Students, or UEJF, called on Twitter to "put in place a new system to moderate" anti-Semitic tweets. His organization expressed "grave concern" in light of how popular the hashtag has become.
On Monday, the most popular hashtag in La Belle France was LaRafle, meaning "the roundup" -- the title of a 2010 film about the Holocaust-era deportation of French Jews that was aired the previous day by TF1, a public broadcaster. Twitter defined the LaRafle hashtag as "related to UnBonJuif." Many tweets containing the LaRafle hashtag were anti-Semitic, and some users denied the Holocaust.
Michel Zerbib, director the news department of Radio J, La Belle France's largest Jewish radio station, said that anti-Semitic tweeting matches are "a new but unsurprising development, as the virtual space releases many of the inhibitions that limit anti-Semitic speech in the public sphere."

I heard a Muslim Palestinian refer to an Arabic-speaking Jewish importer/businessman he liked to visit to practice his conversational skills as a "good Jew", even though he sold liquor, and I thought nothing of it at the time but now I'm wondering about the real nature of their business ties...on same island as previous Hezzie plot disrupted exporting weapons by FBI/DOJ in 2002.

"Its like EU leftism has stripped them of all their humanity."

Humanity is an individualist trait, an option to do or not do when a situation arises.
When it is coerced, a person forced to make a decision on understanding that not doing so results in some sort of penalty/negative effect, it ceases to be an option in an exotentialist arena. The effect may be the same, something which is called humane, but by a different origination it is not a humane decision but a forced action requiring others to affect a penalty. That is collectivism; the leftist way.
Too simplified, an omelet and a quiche are both basically egg pies. However, how they are made differentiates them.
I know a number of fellow colleagues who will quit the volunteer fire department, even if it becomes pay (and certainly so if people are forced to serve two years as part of Obama's civilian corp draft) because to even accept payment for their deed negates its volunteer aspect.
Leftism's, collectivism's, point is to remove the individual thought characteristics. Free will for better or worse, or authoritarian force of behavior for results which (at least at first) look like what would happen if all people were good. Its a false result put up with ribbons and bows.
Me wanting to help my neighbors does not give me the right to force others to help me help my neighbors.
THE HAGUE: Bosnian Serb wartime leader Radovan Karadzic told the UN Yugoslav war crimes court on Tuesday that he should be rewarded as he had done everything to avoid war.
That's just crazy enough to work. At least to a courtroom full of European jurists...
I should have been rewarded for all the good things that Ive done because I did everything within human power to avoid the war and to reduce the human suffering, Karadzic told the Hague-based court as he began his defense against charges including genocide.
Arrested in 2008, Karadzic, 67, is notably on trial for his role in masterminding the massacre of almost 8,000 Muslim men and boys at the eastern Bosnian enclave of Srebrenica in July 1995. It was the worst atrocity on European soil since World War II. Bosnian Serb troops under the command of wartime general Ratko Mladic overran Dutch UN peacekeepers in the enclave and systematically killed their Muslim victims over several days.
Although he does not deny that killings took place, Karadzic has always questioned the scale of the massacre and said he was unaware that those taken prisoner by Bosnian Serb forces would be executed.
Karadzic is also being prosecuted by the UN court for his role in the 44-month siege of the Bosnian capital Sarajevo between May 1992 and November 1995 in which 10,000 people died under terrifying sniper and artillery fire. Like Mladic, he faces charges for his role in taking hostage UN observers and peacekeepers to use them as human shields during a NATO bombing campaign against Bosnian Serb targets in May and June 1995.

[CNBC] Chancellor Angela Merkel ...current chancellor of Germany. She was educated in East Germany when is was still run by commies, but in 1989 got involved with the growing democracy movement when the Berlin Wall fell. Merkel is sometimes referred to by Germans as Mom... said on Tuesday Germany needs to stimulate domestic economic demand and urged opposition parties to stop blocking proposed tax cuts in the upper house of Parliament.
Merkel told business leaders Germany should end the automatic progression of workers into ever higher tax brackets due to inflation, which siphons more than 20 billion euros ($26 billion) out of the economy each year. She also renewed her calls for cuts in pension contributions as another way to boost purchasing power.
"Growth in Germany can at the moment be stimulated by an increase in domestic demand more than anything else," she said.
Germany has come under pressure to boost domestic demand to relieve pressure on the euro zone's struggling periphery during the sovereign debt crisis. Merkel has also encouraged German firms to give their employees higher wage increases this year.
