[National Review] Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum, the Democratic Florida gubernatorial candidate, was aware that tickets he received to a Broadway show were purchased by an undercover FBI agent he thought was a land developer, according to more than 100 pages of records given to the state ethics commission and released to the public Tuesday.
The records, which were provided to the commission by an attorney representing Adam Corey, a lobbyist and longtime friend of Gillum’s, include text-messages between Corey and Gillum, and indicate that Gillum lied on numerous occasions in claiming he was unaware who purchased the tickets when he attended the play.
"Mike Miller and the crew have tickets for us for Hamilton tonight at 8 p.m.," Corey texted Gillum on Aug. 10, 2016, referring to one of the two undercover FBI agents who attended the trip to New York while posing as land developers with business before the city.
"Awesome news about Hamilton," Gillum replied.
The ethics commission is currently probing trips Gillum took to New York and Costa Rica that were arranged by Corey.

Gillum lied on numerous occasions in claiming he was unaware who purchased the tickets when he attended the play.
Once again, it's not the crime but the cover-up that gets you.
As for the FBI giving him tickets...
Back in the hippie days, there was a running joke about how the most radical SDS cells consisted entirely of FBI informants egging each other on to greater and greater levels of violence. Given what we now know about the FBI, maybe it wasn't that much of a joke.
[Breitbart] Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) ‐ who is eyeing a 2020 presidential bid against President Trump ‐ says the United States should be "welcoming" migrant caravans that arrive at the nation’s southern border.
While campaigning for Democrats in Iowa, Harris told a CNN reporter that the U.S. response to the 7,000-strong migrant caravan of job-seekers and previously deported illegal aliens should be "welcoming" and "tolerant."
"We are a country that ... our strength has always been that we are a tolerant country, that we are welcoming, in particular, those who have fled harm," Harris said of the caravan. "And the idea that we’re vilifying any one group and the fear-mongering, that’s not in the best interest of our country."
"What our country wants and what the people of our country want is they want leaders who are focused on the challenges that they face every day," Harris continued. "Like can they put food on the table and pay the bills by the end of the month ... not vilifying one group for the sake of fear-mongering and politics."
Though the establishment media has portrayed members of the migrant caravan as asylum-seekers, the migrants have repeatedly confirmed to the press that they are mostly economic migrants and previously deported illegal aliens who want to resume their old jobs in the U.S.

I want a list of 'Hollywood'/Progressive millionaires willing to donate their California property to house these migrants... We don't need much land, say ALL of their beachfront property, because we are only talking about enough space to house two small cities --- Already.
Show some of that compassion! Kamala Harris organize your supporters are toddle off.

We will be kind, we will be welcoming, we will be very tolerant of the fact they are being used as political fodder. And then we will politely congratulate them on their successful walk across Mexico before we put them on the bus headed south.

Kamala Harris: Americans Must be ‘Welcoming,' ‘Tolerant' to Caravan

I can recall when the Clintons were POTUS, they were tolerant and understanding of the people in the Branch Davidian church, often referred to as the Waco Siege. What was it, something like 80 or more people who died (burned to death or shot) as the result of the siege?
[Free Beacon] A Minnesota Democrat running for Congress on her business record says she had no knowledge of a company subsidiary that was implicated in a kickback scheme with the Saddam Hussein regime.
Angie Craig is challenging Republican representative Jason Lewis in Minnesota's 2nd Congressional District, a rematch of the 2016 race that Lewis won by fewer than 7,000 votes. She has highlighted her success "working in health care" for more than two decades as evidence that she can "contribute meaningfully to immediately fixing what's wrong with health care." Her rise in the business world came through her work in corporate communications for global medical device firm Smith & Nephew. Her 12-year tenure at the company coincided with allegations that the company profited from corrupt deals with the Saddam Hussein regime. The probe conducted by former Federal Reserve chairman Paul Volcker into the oil-for-food program alleged that Smith & Nephew's UAE subsidiary paid more than $50,000 in bribes to members of the Hussein regime to win a $600,000 contract.
Craig denied any knowledge of the subsidiary's dealings with Iraq, pointing out that she only worked for the parent company and had no role in "billings or sales."
[WashingtonTimes] A new video from the American Association of Evangelicalsreveals how George Soros, through his many funding ventures, has been busily infiltrating the Christian base in America to divide, and ultimately conquer, the religious minded within the Republican Party.
Truly, with the left, political wars know no bounds. Nothing’s sacred; not when it comes to the leftists’ drive to succeed.
Here’s what AAE put out in a press release: "Democrat ministers Rev. Jim Wallis and allies are now touring many states on ’Vote Common Good’ buses to ... split the evangelical vote before the mid-term elections. The AAE video features the newly released voice recording of [Jim] Wallis of Sojourners as he publicly denied that he was a recipient of Soros funding."
But guess what?
His denial’s proven a bit ‐ umm, wrong.
Soros-tied Open Society money and grant dollars have not only flowed by the hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Sojourners, AAE reported. But Soros-tied Open Society money and grant dollars have been flowing to the Sojourners for some time.
"Soros Funding of Sojourners Is Only the Tip of the Iceberg," wrote National Review in August of 2010.
"George Soros Funding Jim Wallis and Sojourners," wrote Crisis Magazine that same month and year, which went on to report: "The funding from Soros’s foundation, The Open Society, was revealed by Marvin Olasky in World magazine."
And then there was this, from the Blaze, in October 2011: "George SorosSends $150000 to Jim Wallis’ Left-Wing Group Sojourners."
’Lest the significance goes unrecognized: The Sojourners is a far-left group that masquerades as a Christian outlet, bent on doing God’s work, but that far more often seems to do nothing but Democrats’ will. Continues...

The Soros Express knows no bounds “The caravan is organized by a group called Pueblo Sin Fronteras, [b]ut the effort is supported by the coalition CARA Family Detention Pro Bono Project, which includes Catholic Legal Immigration Network (CLIN), the American Immigration Council (AIC), the Refugee and Immigration Center for Education and Legal Services (RICELS) and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) – thus the acronym CARA,” WND reported. “At least three of the four groups are funded by George Soros’ Open Society Foundation.” Yellow USAID bags also probably distributed through a Soros NGO.
[DailyCaller] An anti-police protester who told a 9/11 widow that her "husband should probably f***ing rot in the grave" has been fired from his job.
"Steve Wilson is no longer an employee of [Self Enhancement Inc]. His behavior does not represent the values of our organization or the high expectations that we have for our employees," SEI tweeted over the weekend, according to the Daily Wire on Monday.
The statement comes after video of a rally in Portland, Oregon, occupied by both Antifa and Trump supporters, went viral last week.
The protester can be heard screaming profanities at the woman, who then turns around and faces the man to only to explain, "My husband died in 9/11."
"Good for him! Good," the left-wing protester replied. "Good. NYPD were a bunch of sodomized ‐ f***ing sodomizing immigrants with their bully sticks. Your husband should probably f***ing rot in the grave."
When another man walked up to the screaming protester and asked if he had "just called my mom out," however, the guy took off running.
