[FOX] House Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes, in a Fox News interview Sunday, blasted "cherry-picked" findings in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report about Joseph Mifsud -- the mysterious professor from Malta who helped ignite the Russia probe in 2016.
The California Republican previously said he wanted to know exactly who was employing Mifsud when he spoke with George Papadopoulos, a former adviser to then-candidate Donald Trump.
"If the FBI does in fact have transcripts of Papadopoulos talking to anyone ... I think Congress, and the American people, have a right to know this because in fact we paid for it, and we had to deal with this for two and a half years. We had to suffer through this," he told Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures."
Mifsud largely has vanished from public eye after his name began surfacing in news stories. "Vanished" as in Seth Rich vanished, or simply on holiday somewhere ?
Last week, Nunes sent a letter addressed to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, CIA Director Gina Haspel, National Security Agency Director Paul Nakasone and FBI Director Chris Wray. It asks them to hand over all information they had on Mifsud by May 10.

An Italian newspaper has revealed that Joseph Mifsud, the mysterious Maltese professor who vanished from the public eye in late 2017, was hiding out last year in a rented flat in Rome for several months while being sought by an Italian court -- and it was paid for by “Link International,” a company co-owned by Link Campus University.
"Mifsud lived in an apartment in Rome, in Via Cimarosa 3, owned by a Greek diplomat, and the rent was paid by Link Campus," Il Foglio reported.
G-Pap's wife, Simona Mangiante Papadopoulos tweeted about the story on Thursday:
Mifsud was hiding in Roma - precisely in “Via Cimarosa n. 3” right next to the American Embassy in Rome

Clinton errand boy, Alexander Downer, is having a meltdown on Twitter about POTUS. He is terrified that the world will now see that he was a wannabe spy who I caught right away and reported to the FBI/congress/Mueller. Unfortunately for him, POTUS is declassifying everything!
[Hot Air] Maine was one of the states the Democrats managed to flip in terms of the Governor’s Mansion and they also control the state legislature. Paul LePage was replaced by Janet Mills in January, and now she’s broken out the veto pen for the first time. She shot down (for now) a bill that would have restricted ethanol blending in gasoline to the current 10% level, forbidding the sale of E-15 or higher. This has been a goal of some Republicans in the state for several years now and with good reason. But for the moment, it’s hanging on the brink of defeat. (Bangor Daily News)
[Politico] PLAINS, Ga. ‐ Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg and his husband, Chasten, joined the large crowd at former President Jimmy Carter’s Sunday school class in rural South Georgia.
At Carter’s invitation Buttigieg stood and read from the Bible as part of the lesson at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains.
"You know him?" Carter had said earlier in reference to Buttigieg, drawing a laugh from the crowd.
Carter told the audience that two other Democratic presidential candidates, Sens. Cory Booker of New Jersey and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, had previously attended his classes.
The South Bend, Indiana, mayor later tweeted: "I was humbled to meet with President Carter in Plains, Georgia today. He is a true public servant and America is blessed for his continuing leadership." The Buttigieg campaign said in a statement that he had lunch with Carter and his wife, Rosalyn, and "enjoyed a conversation about topics ranging from faith to the rigors of the campaign trail."
[FREEBEACON] Rep. Al Green (D., Texas) said on Saturday that if Democrats don't begin impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump ...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States... , "he will get re-elected." And if you do, he'll get re-elected.
Green, who has called for Trump's removal from office since 2017 and introduced articles of impeachment that year, told MSNBC that he dismissed the idea that impeaching Trump could help him politically.
"I'm concerned if we don't impeach this president, he will get re-elected. If we don't impeach him, he will say he's been vindicated," Green said. "He will say the Democrats had an overwhelming majority in the House and they didn't take up impeachment. He will say that we had a constitutional duty to do it if it was there, and we didn't. He will say he's been vindicated."
Green added he and fellow House Democrats face a constitutional crisis on the question of impeachment.

Interesting how they never mention what possible grounds for impeachment they have. I suspect they just don't like him.

If Pelosi had the votes they would have impeached already. I am sure there are a bunch of congress persons behind close doors that tell her impeachment is a bad strategy for their reelection particularly while the senate will not impeach.

...I notice that none of these guaranteed income ideas include 'not allowing employers to cut your pay by whatever your'e getting.' Not sure if that's a bug or a feature.

This has been tried. It has failed horribly everywhere it has existed.
A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship

I see this as an attempt to increase the percentage of rent able to be extracted from the economy.
I'd have no problem with this if this was a citizens dividend (i.e no guaranteed sum) funded by property title value tax (i.e. not on the building). But one based on taxing incomes to fund something to boost incomes (which are then taxed more) smacks of trying to shift more wealth into rent.

Biden tries to package himself as the blue-collar candidate. WTF? He has been feeding at the pubic trough for 50 years. What does he know about blue collar work? He's got Ukraine and China problems. He was also VP for Obama when the Dems were spying on Trump before and after he was POTUS.
