GOP Congresswoman Blamed Wildfires on Secret Jewish Space Laser
[NYMag] The top example of a conservative mischief-maker, presented in perfect symmetry, is Marjorie Taylor Greene.

The most recent Greene view to be unearthed comes via Eric Hananoki. Just over two years ago, Greene suggested in a Facebook post that wildfires in California were not natural. Forests don’t just catch fire, you know. Rather, the blazes had been started by PG&E, in conjunction with the Rothschilds, using a space laser, in order to clear room for a high-speed rail project.
Is she nuttier than the gentleman who worried about Guam tipping over if the Air Force lined their jets all on one side, or Al Franken, who believed himself required to tackle people he disagreed with, or Hilary Clinton and her vast, rightwing conspiracy?

#4  Claus von Bulow had what I think is the perfect anecdote about his time working for the Rothschilds. He was addressing a room full of the most senior partners and informing them of the completion of a major deal.

When queried as to the firm's profit, he replied, I believe, 18% and the actual number. For the first time there was physical stirring in the room and expressions of confusion and incredulity were upon most faces.

At length one of the partners asked how von Bulow had arrived at that figure. Before he could respond or even wrap his mind around the request, he was sternly informed THAT was not the way things were done at Rothschilds.

He was sat down, presented with a legal pad and told to produce do the math...to produce the 18% figure.

For a moment he thought they were well simply f'ing with him. But all eyes upon him were absolutely serious so he did the math neatly like a 7th grader. So much for the evil genius cabal who own/control/run everything.

Biden's White House Considering Banning Conservative Media from Press Briefings
[BigLeaguePolitics] President Joe Biden’s press team may move to restrict the briefings held at the White House to liberal mainstream media outlets, if language from the new President’s deputy press secretary if more than just talk.

“Organizations or individuals who traffic in conspiracy theories, propaganda and lies to spread disinformation will not be tolerated,” TJ Ducklo, Biden’s deputy press secretary, said in a statement to Politico, “and we’ll work with the WHCA to decide how to handle those instances moving forward.”

Given liberal media figures’ extremely wide-ranging definition of “disinformation,” it appears possible to likely that any journalist or reporter who is critical of Biden policies “will not be tolerated” at the White House.

Biden's Asia Policy Czar Helped Found Group ‘Heavily Influenced by the CCP'
[Free Beaacon] Joe Biden's incoming Asia policy czar was a top leader at a nonprofit group that was bankrolled by the head of a Chinese propaganda front group and partnered with a Chinese foreign mission.

Kurt Campbell, a former Obama State Department official and businessman, was until August 2020 listed as board vice chairman of the U.S.-China Strong Foundation, ostensibly a nonprofit group that promotes student language exchanges with Beijing but whose leaders included prominent members of the Chinese government’s overseas propaganda fronts, according to State Department and Department of Justice records.

Campbell is slated to serve as the chief coordinator for President Joe Biden’s Asia policy on the National Security Council, but his leadership role with the foundation is raising concerns with China hawks in Washington. The foundation has promoted the Chinese army and China's Belt and Road Initiative—deemed a national security threat by U.S. officials. It has also partnered with the Confucius Institute U.S. Center, an educational nonprofit organization that the State Department designated as a foreign mission last summer, citing its promotion of Beijing's propaganda efforts to academics across the world.

In August 2017, the U.S.-China Strong Foundation appeared to celebrate the founding of the People’s Liberation Army on its Twitter account, writing, "Today is the 90th anniversary of the founding of China's PLA!" and urging followers to read about a commemorating address by President Xi. The group also posted multiple favorable Twitter messages about China’s Belt and Road Initiative, a global infrastructure program that U.S. officials have decried as a national security risk.

China Joe order terminates federal private prison contracts. Here's what that means.
The action is part of the administration’s effort to address racial inequity in the country and make good on Biden’s campaign promises to Black Americans — who were integral to securing his presidential win.

The order directs the Justice Department to decline to renew contracts with privately-operated, for-profit prisons. This effort began under the Obama administration and was championed by then-DeputyAttorney General Sally Yates. The policy was quickly axed by the Trump administration in 2017. Now, scholars are taking a deeper look at the restored policy, and questioning its overall impact on racial inequity.

"When it comes to private prisons, the impact of this order is going to be slight to none," said John Pfaff, a professor of law at the Fordham University School of Law. "This is not about shrinking the footprint of the federal prison system, it’s just about transferring people to public facilities. Biden is telling an executive agency under his control what kind of contracts they can enter, that’s a core executive function of Biden’s."

Still states can still choose "who to write contracts with," Pfaff said. "In practice, this will end up being more symbolic and will have little impact on any issue of racial justice and the system. The symbolism carries the very real risk of making us blind to the nearly identical incentives of the public prison sector, and the public side is so much vaster in scope."

Few details have been released about the order scaling back private prison use, but the initial Obama-era policy focused on about a dozen privately-run facilities. The federal Bureau of Prisons said then that approximately 195,000 people were incarcerated in the bureau's or private-contract facilities. Today, there are nearly 152,000 people incarcerated federally, with 14,000 housed at privately-managed facilities, according to The Associated Press.

6 State Attorneys General Warn Biden Over Potential Presidential Overreach
[Zero] The letter, signed by six attorneys general (AGs), puts the Biden administration on notice that any actions that might exceed their statutory authority, are inconsistent with constitutional tenets, or place civil liberties at risk could trigger legal action by the states.
"We stand ready to meet with your administration to discuss more how the issues below affect our States; litigation is never first option, and we would like to help your team in its important job on behalf of all Americans, consistent with the Constitution and the rule of law," West Virginia AG Patrick Morrisey, who is leading the group, wrote in the letter addressed to the White House (pdf).

"Yet if you sign unconstitutional laws passed by Congress, it will be our responsibility and duty to challenge those laws in court. If cabinet officials, executive officers, and agencies go beyond the bounds of their statutory authority, fail to follow legally required procedures, or fall short of the bedrock Administrative Procedure Act obligation of reasoned decision making, it will likewise be our responsibility to take action."
The Administrative Procedure Act, or APA, is a federal law that governs the process for agency rulemaking and has been frequently invoked to challenge executive branch rules and regulations.

Morrisey is joined by AGs from Arkansas, Indiana, Mississippi, Montana, and Texas.

Democrat Lawmakers Call for Recurring Stimulus Payments in Coronavirus Relief Bill, Illegal Immigrants Included
[Breitbart] Dozens of House lawmakers, led by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), are calling for future coronavirus relief measures to include recurring stimulus payments that extend to those who have Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITIN), which includes illegal immigrants.

In a Thursday letter to President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, the lawmakers said they are "appreciative" of the administration’s work to ensure that Americans receive another "survival" check as soon as possible. However, they believe that officials must take "additional unprecedented action" in the form of recurring cash payments in future economic relief plans. Such would "provide a longterm lifeline to struggling Americans for the duration of this deadly pandemic," they wrote, citing "worsening systemic inequities."

#25  Its pretty simple: get one of those former deep sea oil rigs he is refitting, load the rockets on it, take it out to the Gulf in international waters, and flip a great big bird to the FAA.

President Joe Biden is set to take his first steps to reverse Trump administration health care policies. The White House said Biden plans on Thursday to sign orders on a range of issues including getting more Americans covered and removing curbs on child sacrifice abortion counseling.
