Two US Marines Arrested for Migrant Trafficking
For shame!
[AnNahar] Two US Marines have been arrested for smuggling undocumented Mexican migrants colonists into the United States in exchange for money, according to a court document.

Byron Darnell Law II and David Javier Salazar-Quintero were arrested on July 3 along the Mexican border in Jacumba, Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, the document said.

They were charged with having transported three undocumented migrants colonists about six miles (10 kilometers) over the border.

The three Mexican nationals seated in the back of the Marines' vehicle were prepared to pay $8,000 "to be smuggled into the United States," although it is unclear to whom they would have paid the money.

The two Marines, who were stationed at Camp Pendleton near San Diego, have been accused of "knowingly" transporting the migrants colonists into the US "for the purpose of... private financial gain," according to the court document.

During their hearings, both men accused each other of responsibility in the matter: Law said that Salazar received directions to the pickup location via a cell phone, while Salazar said that Law originally got him involved with smuggling. Salazar also said he had made four other smuggling trips to Jacumba.

Law and Salazar were formally charged Monday, according to The Washington Post. The office of the attorney general did not respond to AFP's request for comment.

"We continue to cooperate fully with the investigative efforts into this matter," Marine front man First Lieutenant Cameron Edinburgh told Marine Corps Times.

This is not the first case of US military members helping migrants colonists enter the US. There were similar instances in 2014, 2017 and last year.

The US Border Patrol apprehended nearly 700,000 people illegally crossing into the United States from October to June, 140 percent higher than during the same period a year earlier.

Iraqi man gets life in jail for rape, murder of Jewish teen in Germany
[IsraelTimes] Judge says assault, murder of 14-year-old Susanna Maria Feldman is of exceptional severity and Ali Bashar showed ’neither remorse nor empathy’, so won’t get parole after 15 years.

An Iraqi man was sentenced to life in jail by a German court on Wednesday for the rape and murder of a teenage girl that fueled far-right protests against a mass influx of mostly Moslem migrants colonists.

Rejected asylum seeker Ali Bashar,
...the Iraqi Kurd known wolf, also in our archives as Ali B. and Ali Basar, is a living example of the legal maxim Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus...
22, was convicted of the killing and handed the maximum sentence of life in prison by the court in Wiesbaden, the city where the murder took place in May last year.

The judge, Juergen Bonk, also found the crime to be of exceptional severity, meaning that Bashar will not be granted parole after 15 years as is usually the case in Germany.

Bashar committed a "coldblooded murder" and showed "neither remorse nor empathy," said the presiding judge, adding that during his trial the defendant had "voiced no sincere word of regret."

The Iraqi man battered, raped and strangled the Jewish schoolgirl to death in a wooded area near railway tracks on May 23, 2018.

The court heard he then sent false messages from Susanna’s smartphone indicating she had left for an impromptu trip to Gay Paree.

Her body was only found on June 6 in a shallow grave covered with leaves, twigs and soil.

By this time, Bashar and his family had left Germany and returned to Arbil in northern Iraq.

The accused was however arrested by Kurdish security forces and, even though Berlin and Baghdad have no formal extradition treaty, taken back to Germany.

INCAPABLE OF EMPATHY
Federal police chief Dieter Romann personally joined the controversial operation, as newspaper front pages showed pictures of commandos escorting a heavily restrained Bashar off an aircraft.

Bashar later confessed the killing but denied the rape, claiming that he and the girl had consensual sex before she fell, got angry and threatened to call the police.

In a separate trial, Bashar is accused of twice raping an 11-year-old girl, who was believed to have also been sexually assaulted by an Afghan youth.

The Bashar case put renewed pressure on Merkel’s government over the decision to keep open German borders at the height of Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
’s refugee crisis.

The far-right has voiced fury about cases of sexual violence committed by recent migrants colonists and other foreign nationals ‐ including mass assaults in Cologne
...the largest city in North Rhine-Westphalia and the fourth populated city in Germany....
on New Year’s Eve 2015-16, and, in April this year, the alleged gang rape by eight Bulgarian teens of a 13-year-old girl.

Bashar, his parents and siblings arrived in Germany in 2015, at the peak of the influx that would bring more than a million asylum seekers, mostly from the Middle East and Africa.

His asylum request was rejected in late 2016, but he obtained a temporary residence permit pending his appeal.

During this time, he came to police attention for fights, alleged robbery and possession of an illegal switchblade.

Susanna’s mother, Diana Feldmann, dressed in black during the almost four-month-long trial, broke down in tears as the court heard the harrowing details of the crime.

"I have already been given a lifetime sentence," she told a court last week.

Bashar by contrast appeared composed during the trial, in which a psychiatrist testified the accused has a personality disorder and is incapable of empathy.
The Jerusalem Post adds:
Bashar, 22, arrived in Germany with his family from Iraq and applied for asylum while living in Wiesbaden, near Frankfurt. It was there that he befriended 14-year-old Feldmann through his younger brother, who was also an asylum seeker.

During the search for her daughter, Diana Feldmann even visited Bashar's home for help. She later told The Jerusalem Post that Bashar's family told her they had heard about the situation from the news.

"We were talking to them in their house and the mother said, ‘Allah, Allah. We didn’t see him.’

"They lied to me, to my face," she continued. "They knew exactly what happened. How can a mother – a mother who has eight children herself – lie to another mother’s face and say: ‘I don’t know what happened to your daughter’?”
As Elmerert Hupens2660 commented a year ago about this case,

Everything concerning this sc*m and his sc*m family has been illegal:

Illegal entry, fake identity, fake refugee, violent crime spree including armed robbery and possibly child rape, fraudulently obtaining benefits, illegal exit using multiple identities (one of which might have been valid), and of course confessed murder.

None of this would have been possible without the German political class deciding to be an accomplice.

At least they’ll keep him locked away from his future victims for a while.

#2  the defendant had "voiced no sincere word of regret."

He took what was his from an enemy civilian population that didn't even enjoy dhimmi protection.

There's a very different cultural, legal and moral consensus at play here.

What is legal and moral conduct for one side is an abhorrent crime for the other side; and vice versa.

Two men shot dead, another wounded in ‘terrorist’ attack in Karachi
[DAWN] Two men were killed and another was critically maimed in an armed attack on a roadside teashop in Gulistan-e-Jauhar on Tuesday in what police suspected to be an "apparent case of terrorism" to create panic in the city, officials and witnesses said.

The officials said that two men riding a cycle of violence pulled up outside the teashop, fired multiple shots and sped away. The intense firing, they said, left three men maimed, two of whom died while being taken to hospital.

"The hotel is situated in Pehalwan Goth where mostly labourers are seen having tea or sitting with friends," said an official at the Gulistan-e-Jauhar cop shoppe. "The dear departed were identified as 45-year-old Barkat Ali and 40-year-old Nazik while the injured, who’s still in a critical condition and being treated at the JPMC [Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre], is named Abdul Aziz, 35. The firing suspended [normal activities] in the area but enhanced patrolling and deployment of law enforcers, including Rangers’ personnel, brought the situation back under control."

Initially, the police Sherlocks remained clueless about the motive for the attack, but the initial findings suggested the motive of spreading terror in the city.

"Initially it was not clear what really led to this incident," said DIG East Amir Farooqi. "But statements of the witnesses and initial investigations helped us connect the dots to conclude that it was apparently a terrorism-related attempt just to trigger fear and panic. The findings suggest that two men on a motorbike pulled up outside the hotel and one of them got off the two-wheeler. Within seconds he started indiscriminate firing on the people sitting there, leaving three of them maimed. The attackers neither spotted anyone, nor they looked for anything valuable. They sped away after executing the job."

He said investigations were on and the police were collecting all relevant evidence from the scene of the crime and recording statements of eyewitnesses. The area, he said, had a multiethnic population following different sects. There was no apparent reason to suspect the attack against people of any particular ethnicity or sect, added the DIG.

The back-to-back incidents in the city’s East and South districts [a journalist was shot and killed in the DHA also on Tuesday] left the people of both areas shocked and in a state of fear.

Dozens of IEDs were retrieved and destroyed on Wednesday as "Will of Victory" ‐ a combined operation of the Iraqi Army and Hashd al-Shaabi paramilitias ‐ enters its fourth day, paving the way for displaced civilians to return to their homes.

The Iraqi Army’s brigade 60, supported by the Iraqi Air Force, destroyed seven suspected ISIS hideouts in Nineveh, according a Ministry of Defense statement released Wednesday.

Nine IEDs were destroyed in a controlled demolition and 33 Katyusha rockets seized.

Brigade 43 also destroyed 12 suspected ISIS hideouts in Nineveh, and disposed of six IEDs, according to the statement.

Hashd al-Shaabi, with the assistance of Iraqi jets, destroyed an ISIS vehicle in Nineveh and killed four ISIS suspects. Eleven IEDs were also recovered and destroyed.

This follows the killing of three ISIS suspects in the same province on Monday.

Meanwhile in Saladin province, the Iraqi Army destroyed several more suspected ISIS hideouts and eleven IEDs. It also seized four Katyusha rockets and machinery used to produce IEDs.

In the Anbar village of al-Shwilly, the Iraqi Army destroyed three IEDs.

Mohammed al-Askari, a front man for the Ministry of Interior Staff General, said Monday the operation was initiated after an increase in ISIS activity and the interception of messages from ISIS leaders in Syria telling cells to regroup in western areas of Iraq, particularly Anbar.

"These operations will not end until they reach the last frontiers of Iraq," Askari told news hounds.

The Iraqi Ministry of Defense published a video on Wednesday showing brigade 60 and brigade 28 meeting between Nineveh and Anbar having completed their sweep of these territories.

Iraqi security forces launched the "Will of Victory" operation to target ISIS sleeper cells in Nineveh, Anbar, and Saladin, military officials announced Sunday.

Palestinian terror groups say Gazan collaborators with Israel arrested
[IsraelTimes] Suspects accused of involvement in recent Israeli attempts to assassinate Paleostinian operatives in the coastal enclave.

Sources in Paleostinian terror groups said that Gazook collaborators with Israel, who were involved in recent Israeli attempts to assassinate Paleostinian operatives in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip, have been arrested.

The Lebanese newspaper al-Akhbar quoted sources Wednesday as saying that one collaborator was collared after he unsuccessfully tried to poison a top Gazook military leader on behalf of Israel in June. The report did not state the name or political affiliation of the military leader.

Al-Akhbar, which is based in Beirut, often produces coverage sympathetic to the Hamas, a regional Iranian catspaw, terror group.

The sources alleged that a second collaborator was nabbed after he sent a bomb-laden package to a military operative in Gaza at Israel’s behest. They said that the explosive package was defused and that other collaborators involved in sending it to the military operative were arrested.

Asked about the al-Akhbar story, an Israeli military spokesperson said the army does not comment on foreign reports.

Al-Akhbar also reported that Israel recently tried to kill a Paleostinian that it released to Gaza as a part of a prisoner swap with Hamas in 2011, by sending him a explosive package. The report did not attribute that detail to a source or state whether a collaborator was involved. However,
some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them...
it did claim that security forces in Gaza foiled the plot.

Israel freed more than 1,000 Paleostinian prisoners in 2011 in exchange for captured Israel Defense Forces soldier Gilad Shalit, who Hamas held in its custody for more than five years.

Security sources claimed to the Lebanese daily that after terror groups recently broke up some networks of collaborators in Gaza, they identified "urgent attempts" by the Shin Bet security service to recruit new ones. They said the agency tried to enlist Paleostinians in Gaza through blackmail and by offering financial rewards.

Hamas-run Interior Ministry front man Iyad al-Bozm has stated publicly that security forces in Gaza have arrested dozens of collaborators in the past year.

Also quoted in the report was an unnamed leader in an unidentified Paleostinian terror group in Gaza who threatened that military operatives in the coastal enclave could take over Israeli communities adjacent to the Strip.

"In any future war, the enemy must expect groups [of fighters] to enter its areas and take control of those settlements," the leader said to the Lebanese daily, alluding to the communities near Gaza.

Southeast Asia
Manila says first Filipino ‘suicide bomber’ behind last month’s attack
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Philippine security forces confirmed Wednesday that at least one Filipino "jacket wallah" was behind a deadly attack last month, in a first for the Asian country.

Norman Lasuca and one other yet to be identified suspect blew themselves up outside a military camp on the remote southern island of Jolo on June 28 in an attack that also killed three soldiers and two civilians, the police and military said.

"We can now confirm... the incidence of the first suicide kaboom in the Philippines, perpetrated by a Filipino in the person of Norman Lasuca," military front man Brigadier General Edgard Arevalo told a news conference.

The Jolo bombing marks a worrying escalation of militancy driven by the influence of the ISIS group in Southeast Asia, security experts earlier told AFP.

A decades-old Death Eater insurgency in the southern Philippines has killed tens of thousands.

But suicide kabooms have been used extremely rarely, with imported muscle blamed for the few that have been carried out.

National police front man Bernard Banac described last month’s bombing as "a locally initiated attack organized by the Abu Sayyaf
...also known as al-Harakat al-Islamiyya, an Islamist terror group based in Jolo, Basilan and Zamboanga. Since its inception in the early 1990s, the group has carried out bombings, kidnappings, murders, head choppings, and extortion in their uniquely Islamic attempt to set up an independent Moslem province in the Philippines. Abu Sayyaf forces probably number less than 300 cadres. The group is closely allied with remnants of Indonesia's Jemaah Islamiya and has loose ties with MILF and MNLF who sometimes provide cannon fodder...
group", a Jolo-based gang of murderous Moslems engaged in kidnappings and bombings.

"The report as claimed by ISIS that they are the ones responsible for this is still up to validation and that remains to be seen," he told news hounds, referring to ISIS by an alternative name.

Philippine authorities said the two suspected Jolo bombers’ remains were tested for DNA, and one matched that of Lasuca’s mother and brother, who are both Tausugs, the predominant Moslem ethnic group in Jolo.

Experts are still attempting to identify the second bomber, Banac said.

"Before, we only heard of IED (improvised bomb) attacks, remote-controlled attacks but this time an individual went kaboom! as a full-fledged suicide bomber," Arevalo said.

"We (security forces) will have adjustments in techniques, tactics and procedures given this development," he said.

"We consider this to be an isolated case," he added.

However,
there's more than one way to skin a cat...
he acknowledged that "the security environment in our country has changed" and civilians should help the security forces combat the new threat.

They must ensure prospective recruits "won’t be radicalized by terrorist groups (who are) only waiting for the right time and individual to bring to the road of extremism," he said.

Arevalo said Lasuca’s mother described the son, in his early twenties, as a former "battered" child who endured beatings meted out by his father.

#7  I think Woodrow, he meant that Duterte is smarter than to allow this rabid community such access. But that too, he's not.

Duterte's Legacy Shot To Shit

For all his inquisition on the drug trade, he ultimately fell prey to what every govt in the world seems to miscalculate on. The muslim community. Those who live off our benevolence, in their taqiya and under the radar while in their families, behind doors, their hatred seethes and waits for our blood.

Syria regime air strikes hit hospital, kills seven civilians
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Regime air strikes on an opposition bastion in northwestern Syria on Wednesday killed seven civilians including children and knocked a hospital out of service, a monitor and a doctor said.
Trump's fault
The raids are the latest in an uptick in government and Russian bombardment since late April on the holy warrior-administered region of Idlib despite a months-old truce deal.

Three civilians died after the hospital was hit, while four were killed elsewhere in the town, said Observatory head Rami Abdel Rahman.

Rescue workers known as the White Helmets said missiles targeted the hospital and residential neighborhoods in Jisr al-Shughur.

A doctor there said the health facility had been knocked out of service after the generators were hit, and the maimed had been transferred to another hospital for treatment.

"We have no more generators to operate the hospital. It’s the only one for Jisr al-Shughur and neighboring villages," Bassam al-Khattab told AFP.

An AFP correspondent saw three destroyed generators and a damaged ambulance covered in debris.

Idlib, home to some three million people, has since January been administered by Syria’s former al-Qaeda affiliate Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, formerly al-Nusra, before that it was called something else
...al-Qaeda's Syrian affiliate, from which sprang the Islamic State...
But other holy warrior and rebel groups are also present in the area.

More than 550 civilians have been killed in regime and Russian air strikes on northwest Syria since the end of April, the Observatory says.

The United Nations
...a formerly good idea gone bad...
says 25 health facilities in the region have been hit.

Syria’s war has killed more than 370,000 people and displaced millions since it started in 2011 with a brutal crackdown on anti-government protests.

Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps boats tried, failed to seize British oil tanker in Persian Gulf
Here it comes
[Fox News] Five Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps gunboats tried to seize a British oil tanker in the Persian Gulf Wednesday but backed off after a British warship approached, a senior U.S. defense official told Fox News.

The British warship was said to have been less than 5 miles behind the tanker but soon intercepted the Iranian boats and threatened to open fire. A manned U.S. reconnaissance aircraft was above as well, the official said, adding that Iranian forces left without opening fire.

Navy Captain Bill Urban, spokesman for the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), said the military was aware of the reported actions. He added, “Threats to international freedom of navigation require an international solution. The world economy depends on the free flow of commerce, and it is incumbent on all nations to protect and preserve this lynchpin of global prosperity.”

The British frigate was identified as the HMS Monstrose, according to CNN, which was first to report the encounter.

The incident was the latest in a series of provocations between the Islamic Republic and the West. British forces last week seized an Iranian supertanker that officials believed was operating in violation of European Union sanctions. The British Royal Marines captured the vessel in Gibraltar after believing it was trying to provide crude oil to Syria, an ally of Iran.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned that Britain would face repercussions over the seizure.
Oooooohhhhh — so scary. The Sun has pictures, and adds:
One of the officials said: "The Royal Navy HMS Montrose, which was also there, pointed its 30mm deck guns at the boats and warned them over radio, at which point they dispersed."

The other added: "It was harassment and an attempt to interfere with the passage."

A US aircraft was flying overhead at the time and recorded footage of the standoff, the officials said.
The Jerusalem Post has a more anodyne description of the first part of the encounter, though I know which way I’m betting:
The British tanker was crossing into the Strait of Hormuz when the Iranian boats approached. The Iranian ships told the British Heritage tanker that it should change its course and stop in Iranian territorial waters.
Darth Vader also submitted the Sun article, commenting,

An Iranian attempt at "You seize ours, we'll seize yours". Clumsy attempt.

If this is the best they can do, they better go back to sending IEDs to Afghanistan to kill our soldiers.

#8  So, if the Iranian boats had been stupid enough to fire on HMS Montrose (trying to get their 72 virgins), would that be considered an attack on the UK? Since the UK is a NATO ally and an attack on one is (supposed to be) an attack on all, would Trump then be justified in attacking Iran? (Like sinking their entire navy)

Also, the Montrose was only five miles away. According to Google, the range of her 4.5" gun is about 15 miles. She could have taken out all five of the boats before they could even fire back.

#9  So it's not like the seizure mission failed, it's more like the Iranian's ran away screaming like little girls, like kids spooked by spiders, like underdeveloped adults, like immature adults, like screamers.
