[Clarion Project] Maurice Hill, the criminal who wounded six police officers in a shootout in Philadelphia and was arrested after a seven-hour standoff, attended a radical mosque.
The mosque, called Masjid Ahlil Hadith Wal Athar, is known for preaching the Islamist ideology promoted by Saudi Arabia referred to as "Wahhabism."
Clarion Intelligence Network has been aware through its sources that the area where the shootings took place is known for trafficking in guns, drugs and counterfeit items. This criminal market has a strong Islamist element that includes extremist gangs.
Hill’s older sister said he "occasionally attended" an unnamed mosque, confirming initial reports from our sources that Hill is a Muslim. The sources do not yet have first-hand evidence of the shooter being personally involved in Islamist extremism.
Clarion Intel’s sources report that Masjid Ahlil Hadith Wal Athar is a Salafi mosque which follows the theocratic teachings of Saudi Arabia’s top Wahhabist scholars.
At this point, there is no indication that Hill’s shooting of police officers was motivated by Islamism or anything other than a desire to resist arrest.
However, Islamism’s inherent hostility towards Western governments and values fuels anti-police bigotry that can justify violence against law enforcement. Clarion’s sources stated that many of the mosque’s attendees view the police as oppressors of Muslims.
President Donald Trump says he supports meaningful background checks for gun buyers, adding that those responsible for recent mass shootings were mentally ill and the United States should build more mental institutions.https://t.co/4PxJn5KxUq
[KhaamaPress] The Talibs are using the mosques and residential houses as fighting positions, IED making facilities and command and control centers.

The Thunder Corps released the statement in reaction to the latest claims of Taliban ...Arabic for students... that civilians were targeted in Jahangir Bazar area of Gilan district in Ghazni.
However, the difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits... the 203rd Thunder Corps said the group is lying and the latest claim is Taliban part of the Taliban’s failed campaign to defame the security forces and government.
The 203rd Thunder Corps also added that the fighters of Taliban are also disguising themselves in women’s dress in a bid to safeguard themselves but they can never remain hidden from the eyes of the security forces.

[NDTV] New Delhi: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today underscored that India reserves the right to change its policy of 'No First Use', which has been the cornerstone of India's nuclear weapons policy for decades. The government firmly stands by its 'No First Use' policy but "what happens in the future will depend on the circumstances," the minister said at Pokhran in Rajasthan, the site of two nuclear tests by India.
"Pokhran is the area which witnessed Atalji (former prime minister Atal Bihar Vajpayee's) firm resolve to make India a nuclear power and yet remain firmly committed to the doctrine of 'No First Use'. It is true that till now, India has strictly adhered to the 'No First Use' policy. What happens in the future depends on the circumstances," Rajnath Singh told reporters in Pokhran, where he attended the closing ceremony of the Army Scout Master competition in Pokhran.
The ruling BJP's manifesto for the 2014 elections included a promise to "revise and update India's nuclear doctrine". But while campaigning for that election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had dismissed a question on scrapping the No First Use policy in an interview to news agency ANI. "No First Use was a great initiative of Atal Bihari Vajpayee - there is no compromise on that. We are very clear. No First Use is a reflection of our cultural inheritance," he had said in April 2014, on the verge of an election in which he stormed to power.
The wording suggests their mind is made up, pretty much.
This is not the first time in the last few years that BJP leaders have said it was time to amend India's position. In November 2016, then Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar had expressed reservations over India's nuclear posture. More recently, Lieutenant General BS Nagpal, the former commander-in-chief of the Strategic Forces Command, is reported to have said that the No First Use policy was a 'formula for disaster.'

The cultures that shall bend to plodding islamist will, accommodating their own sworn enemies - those cultures will find themselves in a bitter war to survive.
Some people mistake it for a wayward subset of normal social evolution that shall die out the more we evolve. Most people in the west don't even know how to deal with it, primarily because it's born from somewhere the current generation in power have never experienced - the hell of the third world.
Every nation's government, chosen by democratic principles and featuring a modern constitution owes it to its people to keep the islamic element in chains of destitution and helplessness. Confined, contained, isolated so it can never achieve its ambition.
It is only the second best solution. Our humanity or the fear of human voters, rather is what keeps us from the best one.
[DAWN] The government has launched a crackdown on sale of Indian movies and banned airing of advertisements for India-made products on television channels in the wake of tensions over the situation in India-held Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... "We have banned Indian advertisements and launched a crackdown on CD shops to confiscate Indian movies," said Firdous Ashiq Awan, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information.
Talking to Dawn on Thursday, she said the interior ministry had already started a crackdown on Indian movies in the federal capital and it would be expanded to other parts of the country soon in collaboration with the provincial governments. "Today the interior ministry raided some compact disc shops in Islamabad and confiscated Indian movies."
Meanwhile, ...back at the fist fight, Jake ducked another roundhouse, then parried with his left, then with his right, finally with his chin... the Pakistain Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) has prohibited airing of advertisements for India-made products on television and radio networks.
In a letter circulated to all its television and radio licencees on Wednesday, the authority recalled that it had withdrawn permission for airing Indian channels and content on the Supreme Court’s directive in October last year.
"However, it's easy to be generous with someone else's money... it has been observed that advertisements of various products of multi-nationals, which are either produced in India or carry Indian characters, are being aired on electronic media," said the letter posted on Pemra’s Twitter account.
[DAWN] An accountability court in Islamabad on Friday sent PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Ten Percent Zardari ... husband of the late Benazir Bhutto, who has been singularly lacking in curiosity about who done her in ... to Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail on judicial remand till August 19 in the fake bank accounts case.
Zardari was presented before accountability judge Mohammad Bashir who sent the former president to jail after NAB prosecutor Muzaffar Abbasi argued that there had been a new development in the case and sought an extension in the PPP leader's physical remand.
Requesting further custody of Zardari, Abbasi said that a suspect had given a statement which they wanted to confront Zardari about.
An official notification issued by the court stated that Zardari's judicial remand had been approved and he was to be kept in jail until his next court appearance on August 19. Prior to this, the PPP co-chairperson was in NAB custody. On July 29, the court had granted a 10-day remand of the former president.

[DAWN] Malaysian authorities would summon Indian preacher Zakir Naik Indian Islamic preacher, founder and president of the Islamic Research Foundation, which doesn't rely very heavily on the scientific method. He is also the founder of the oxymoronic Peace TV channel through which he reaches 200 million viewers. He has been called an authority on comparative religion and the most influential Salafi ideologue in India, though usually by himself. Before becoming a public speaker, he trained as a physician. His preaching is currently banned in India, Bangladesh, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Antarctica. He is currently holed up in Malaysia, where he's not banned... for questioning after he allegedly made racially sensitive remarks in the multi-ethnic nation, the government said on Thursday.
The move comes after several ministers demanded Naik’s expulsion on Wednesday after he said Hindus in Malaysia had "100 times more rights" than the Moslem minority in India.
Naik, who has lived in Malaysia for about three years and faces charges of money laundering and hate speech in India, has come under fire for comments allegedly pitting the country’s ethnic and religious minorities against the ethnic Malay majority, who are predominantly Moslem.
Police would question Naik and several other individuals and groups for making "racially-tinged statements" and for spreading false news that affected public sensitivities, Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said.
"I would like to remind all parties, including non-citizens, that enforcement agencies under my ministry will not think twice to take legal action against anyone who attempts to threaten public harmony and peace," Muhyiddin said in a statement.
Asked for comment, a representative for Naik said he would first need to study the minister’s statement.
Race and religion are sensitive issues in Malaysia, where Malay Moslems make up about 60 per cent of a population of 32 million. The rest are mostly ethnic Chinese and Indians, most of whom are Hindus.
Naik, who has repeatedly denied the charges against him in India, has said his detractors were quoting him out of context to malign him.
State news agency Bernama quoted Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad as saying this week that Naik could not be sent back to India because of fears for his safety.
"If any (other) country wants to have him, they are welcome," Mahathir added.
India banned Naik’s Islamic Research Foundation in late 2016, accusing him of encouraging and aiding its followers to "promote or attempt to promote feelings of enmity, hatred or ill-will between different religious communities and groups".
[Rudaw] As US and Ottoman Turkish officials thrash out the terms of the new ’safe zone’ in northern Syria, Mazloum Abdi, commander of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), outlined his force’s alternative vision for the border.
Since striking a deal last week, Washington and Ankara have both remained tightlipped on the exact terms of the safe zone ‐ how deep into Syrian territory it will reach, how far it will stretch along the border, what forces will patrol it, or how long it will be in place for.
US officials have since met with SDF commanders to discuss the proposals and search for a compromise between Syria’s Kurds and the Ottoman Turkish government. During these meetings, the SDF set out their own vision for the ’safe zone’.

[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Childbearing is a type of jihad, said the representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in the Iranian army on Thursday, adding that "enemies" seek to reduce the population of Moslem countries, the Iranian semi-official Mehr news agency reported. "For the love of Gawd, huuummmppp!"
"Childbearing in the current circumstances is considered a type of jihad and it would please the Almighty God," said Abbas Mohammad Hassani.
"Enemies of Shiism are trying to prevent the Shiite population from growing, while they continue to increase their own population," he said, adding that their goal is for Moslems not to have enough "defenders."
"All Shiites must, therefore, take on the jihad of childbearing to counter the goals and conspiracies of the enemies," the representative said.
"Countering conspiracies to overthrow the Islamic Theocratic Republic" is another reason for considering childbearing a type of jihad, according to Hassani. "We need warriors to preserve our existence, identity, and capital."
Moslem women who have children with the intention of stopping the enemies from reaching their goals will "undoubtedly" receive the reward of jihad for the sake of God, said Hassani.
He also compared childbearing with performing the Hajj pilgrimage and fasting during Ramadan, saying that those are also "difficult religious duties," but they are completed despite their difficulty.

Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... as an "excuse" to oppose an increase in population, said Hassani. "It is a misconception with no religious justification."
The World Bank’s Global Economic Prospects report for 2019 forecasted a 4.5 negative percent growth for Iran, making it the worst-ranked economy only ahead of Nicaragua. In 2018, Iran’s GDP per capita was $5,037, less than half of the global average based on World Bank statistics.
According to CEIC Data, Iran’s unemployment rate stands at 12.1 percent, while the official youth unemployment rate is 27 percent.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei had also emphasized the importance of a population increase in remarks published by his official website.
"You see, in some Western countries, for example in America, a family has 15 to 20 children ... they are even encouraged, and no one blames them. But when it is our turn, the opposite is encouraged," said Khamenei.
