Taliban Drops Ban, Guarantees Security of Red Cross in Afghanistan
[VOA] KABUL, AFGHANISTAN - The Taliban on Sunday revoked their ban on the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Afghanistan and gave a guarantee of security for its staff doing humanitarian work in areas under their control.
Projecting a humane image ahead of the Emirate declaration, or they just need the smelly bodies gone ?
Taliban leaders imposed a ban on the ICRC and the World Health Organization (WHO) in April saying the organizations were carrying out "suspicious" activities during vaccinations campaigns and not sticking to their declared missions.

"The Islamic Emirate restores the former security guarantees to ICRC in Afghanistan and instructs all mujahideen to pave the way for ICRC activities and be mindful of security to this committee's workers and equipment," Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid in a statement.
The demand for a Red Ak-47 insignia shall come later maybe.
The Taliban refer to themselves as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The spokesman did not refer to the WHO in his statement.

Officials at ICRC and WHO in Kabul were not immediately available for comment.

The WHO has been carrying out a vaccination campaign in Afghanistan, one of the last countries in the world where polio is endemic. The ICRC has been providing medical support for more than 30 years.

Aid groups operating in Afghanistan stress that they do not take sides.

The ICRC in particular is known for its strict neutrality in conflicts.

It operates in Taliban-controlled areas with a guarantee of safety and helps to repatriate bodies from both sides after fighting between the militants and the Afghan army.

The Taliban control or contest more than half of Afghanistan's 410 Afghan districts.

Moscow holds Taliban talks, Kabul displeased
[DAWN] A Taliban
...Arabic for students...
delegation held talks with Russian officials in Moscow after US negotiations with the Afghan forces of Evil collapsed, the Russian foreign ministry said on Saturday.

"The Russian president's special representative for Afghanistan ... , Zamir Kabulov, hosted a Taliban delegation in Moscow," a ministry front man said, quoted by RIA Novosti state-funded news agency.

No date for the talks was given.

"The Russian side stressed the need to relaunch negotiations between the United States and the Taliban movement," the front man said.

"For their part, the Taliban confirmed their willingness to pursue dialogue with Washington," he added.

Until a week ago expectation had steadily mounted of a US-Taliban deal that would see the US drawdown of troop levels in Afghanistan and the Taliban offer security guarantees to keep krazed killer groups out.

But last Saturday, Trump revealed he had cancelled an unprecedented meeting between the Taliban and himself in the US and declared the talks with the bandidos forces of Evil "dead".

With more than 13,000 US troops still in Afghanistan, Trump has been eager to end America's longest war, launched 18 years ago after the September 11 attacks.

But fears are now growing of increased violence with presidential elections set for September 28 in Afghanistan.

The vote, the fourth since the fall of the Taliban in 2001, has already been delayed twice this year.

Kabul lashes out at Taliban chief negotiator for his recent remarks in Moscow

[KhaamaPress] The Afghan government lashed out at Taliban

...Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, Head of the Taliban political office in Doha. He was a member of Rassoul Sayyaf's group in the war against the Soviets....
and his comrades to return to Afghanistan.

Presidential spokesperson Sediq Sediqqi said in a Twitter post that the ’Taliban, this time raised their voice from Moscow and said they will continue to the killings of Afghans’.

Sediqqi further added that the Afghan cops are waiting for the return of Mr. Stanikzai and his comrades from Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
and Moscow for the sake of war in Afghanistan.

This comes as Stanikzai had earlier said that the group is prepared to fight for another hundred years.

He made the remarks during an interview with Russia’s RT after visiting Moscow with several other Taliban leaders in the aftermath of the cancellation of peace talks by U.S. President Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
Meanwhile,
...back at the wreckage, Captain Poindexter wished he had thought to pack sun block...
Stanikzai said "Our stance is that there is no solution to the conflict except negotiations and except peace on the table."

Stanikzai further added "We hope that Mr. Trump rethinks his announcement and comes back to where we were."

SLFA joins the Revolutionary Front ahead of talks for peace in Sudan
[Sudan Tribune] The Sudan Liberation Forces Alliance (SLFA) headed by Altaher Hajer officially joined the rebel umbrella Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) ahead of peace talks with the transitional government in Khartoum said a statement released on Friday.

"The SRF informs the Sudanese people that the SLFA has joined the Revolutionary Front per the provisions of the Constitution and the regulations of the Front," said a statement signed by the SRF leader Hadi Idriss on.

Idriss added that this move demonstrates the SRF keenness for the unity of the armed opposition groups in support of the peaceful Sudanese revolution and democratic transition in the country.

The SLFA was formed by three armed groups on 7 July 2017. The alliance includes the Sudan Liberation Movement for Justice, Sudan Liberation Movement-Unity and the Justice and Equality Movement of Abdallah Bishr Gali.

The three groups elected Altaher Abubakr Hajer as chairman of the SLFA, Abdallah Yahia as a deputy-chairman while Mahgoub al-Aghbash was elected as head of the legislative council and Ahmed Mohamed Suleiman as the deputy-speaker.

During the recent talks with the Sudanese transitional government that led to the signing of the Juba Declaration on peace in Sudan, the SLFA negotiated and signed the declaration with the SRF groups.

Asked by Sudan Tribune if he would join the large umbrella of armed groups, Altaher said they are considering the matter saying they have been encouraged by the South Sudanese government for the sake of peace in Sudan.

"We are moving in this direction and we have not rejected the issue of unity. We are on the road to join the SRF and the coming days we can be part of the alliance," he said.

Last April, the SLFA joined the Sudanese Historical Bloc (SHB) together with the Hilu (SPLM-N Hilu) and a faction of eastern Sudan Beja Conference led by Zeinab Kabbashi (BC-Kabbashi).

Asked why he did not negotiate the Juba Declaration besides the SLM-N led by Abdel Aziz al-Hilu, Altaher Hajer said the SHB is just a political declaration that has no established structures.

SRF leader Hadi Idriss, in his statement, said their door is open for all the opposition groups to join them "in support of peace, stability and good governance".

Britain
Anti-Child Rape Gang Activist and Street Organiser Tommy Robinson Released From Prison
[Breitbart] Tommy Robinson
...former soccer hooligan and founder of the anti-Muslim colonist English Defence League, he was once upon a time christened Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, a dreadful thing to do to a tot...
has been released from Britannia’s maximum security jail after a nine-week sentence that arose from him filming the faces of rape gang suspects outside of court.
That would be the trial of twenty mostly Muslim Pakistani colonists in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, who engaged in the usual grooming of native girls for pleasure and profit, about which the local authorities were completely unconcerned until recently.
The former English Defence League leader turned citizen journalist and anti-child rape activist was pictured leaving HMP Belmarsh prison Friday morning, sporting a beard and long hair from his time behind bars. Laughing with Ezra Levant, a Canadian journalist who has allied himself closely to Mr Robinson, the street organiser joked his first stop after prison would be for a haircut because his newly grown ginger-streaked beard made him look like a "little cowardly convert" to Islam.

Sparring with journalists from the British Daily Mirror newspaper which had turned up to photograph him on release, Mr Robinson said: "you read their lies, the Daily Mirror lied saying I was attacked in this prison, you made up an entire story.

Europe
France: Murder and Attempted Murder up 79 Per Cent in 10 Years
Notice, dear Reader, what word is not mentioned throughout the article.
[Breitbart] Figures from the French judicial police reveal that the number of murders and attempted murders in the country has dramatically increased over the last ten years.

The statistics reveal that in 2009 La Belle France saw 1,767 victims of homicide and attempted homicide but that number jumped significantly to 3,168 by 2018 with professor of criminology Alain Bauer warning of the growing trend of violence, Le Figaro reports.

"Homicide is, by definition, the criterion for recognising violence in a society," Bauer said and added: "A deep movement back to physical violence is happening, especially in the West."

Frédéric Lagache of the police union Alliance Police Nationale agreed, saying: "Violence is democratising. Law enforcement is no longer scary. Today, for nothing, for a look, it turns to fists. Pulling out a gun has become commonplace."

Cities across La Belle France have seen a rise in violence, particularly surrounding the activities of criminal gangs in places like Marseille where a gang war that started at the beginning of 2019 has claimed the lives of nine people so far.

In the span of just one week, La Belle France saw an attempted murder in L’Hay-les-Roses on September 2nd, a convicted criminal in Asnieres-sur-Seine rubbed out on the 3rd, a suspected narco in Toulouse
...lies on the banks of the River Garonne, half-way between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The Toulouse metropolitan area is the fourth-largest in La Belle France...
rubbed out on the 4th, and another man rubbed out the same night in Clermont-Ferrand.

Last month, La Belle France’s Ministry of the Interior noted that murders had jumped by 16 per cent from May 1st to July 1st compared to the previous three-month period.

Many of the 248 murders that took place during the three-month period are thought to be connected to gang-related activity including a shooting incident in Ollioules that saw a tourist killed as well.

Random acts of violence, known in La Belle France as "violences gratuites", have also become a major issue with a report from 2018 claiming that the country sees as many as 777 such random attacks per day.

Obama Bro Ben Rhodes Bursts In Like The Kool-Aid Man To Shill For Iran After Deadly Attacks
Yesterday, massive explosions rocked a Saudi Arabian oil field, shutting down 5% of the world’s production. As my colleague streiff shared earlier today, we didn’t have to wait long to find out who did it. If you had Iran as the aggressor, congrats, although that’s not a difficult guess these days. It appears cruise missiles, possibly fired by Iranian backed militias in Iraq, were used in the attack.

Rhodes has never met a situation where he doesn’t run to side with the Mullahs. The relationship he has with them and the sheer amount of shilling he does in their favor leaves a lot of open questions. Just why is he so invested in propping up a brutal Islamic dictatorship? What’s in it for Rhodes?

Iraq
Washington ‘unequivocally’ expects Baghdad to implement Iran sanctions: Treasury official
[Rudaw] Washington is continuing to make "crystal clear" its expectation that the Iraqi government honor, implement and adhere to economic sanctions on Tehran, a US Treasury Department official said on Friday.

"I have a good relationship with my Iraqi counterparts, with the finance minister, with the Central Bank governor, they understand everything the United States does to assist the function of their economy," Marshall Billingslea, Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing at the US Treasury Department, said at an Atlantic Council meeting focusing on Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
and terrorist financing on Friday.

"We will continue to insist that when we implement designation on those who facilitate QF [Quds Force] or IRGC [Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps] or Hezbollah or other terrorist proxy finances...it is not a negotiation, we expect unequivocally that those sanctions are honored and implemented."

Bodies and institutions of all sizes are expected to adhere to sanction implementation, Billingslea said, with failure to do resulting in penalization.

"We will not hesitate to act, even against a large financial institution with a politically connected member of the Iraqi parliament," Billingslea said.

Four prominent Iraqis - two Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF, Hashd al-Shaabi in Arabic) leaders and two former provincial governors - were sanctioned by the US Treasury for alleged corruption and human rights
...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty...
abuses in July.

The sanctions were quickly followed by a Central Bank of Iraq order for all governmental financial departments and state-owned banks to "halt or freeze" the accounts of sanction-hit Iraqis.

After Washington re-imposed crippling sanctions on Iran in November 2018, the US has prodded its regional allies to halt all trade activity with Tehran.

US Treasury officials have frequented both Baghdad and Erbil in recent months to pressure Iraq into cutting their ties with Iran as part of its policy of maximum pressure.

"[The US] Treasury is actively targeting Iran’s key industries, to drive a realization by Iran’s Supreme Leader that economic collapse is inevitable if Iran does not stop its sponsorship of terror, its proliferation activities, and return to negotiating table," Billingslea said.

Washington’s main target, he specified, is Iran’s petrochemical industry, the primary source of the country’s revenue. The US has accused Iran of attempting to circumvent sanctions through illicit oil sales to provide revenue for its proxies elsewhere in the Middle East.

"In recent days you have seen us focus on a joint Iranian-Hizbollah oil-for-terror shipping network...this network alone has illicitly sold more than half a billion dollars of Iranian crude just this year, predominantly again to the brutal Assad regime in Syria." Billingslea told the Atlantic Council audience.

Iraq has relied on imported Iranian electricity and gas for over a decade to meet rising demand against an ailing energy infrastructure. Iran currently provides as much as 40 percent of Iraq’s electricity.

This reliance has angered the US, though it has nonetheless granted Iraq several temporary waivers to allow it to keep purchasing Iranian power until October.

The US insists Iraq must wean itself off Iranian energy, which Baghdad has said won’t be a viable option for some years.

Iran-Iraq gas and electricity payment mechanism yet to be finalised: official
[Rudaw] Baghdad is yet to find a financial mechanism to settle its debts with US sanction-stricken Iran, secretary general of Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce Sayyid Hamid Hosseini said on Saturday.

Iran, which provides up to 40 percent of Iraq's electricity needs, has struggled to recoup payments from Baghdad since the US government withdrew from the 2015 nuclear deal and re-imposed economic sanctions on Tehran, effectively cutting Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
off from the global financial system.

"The problem we face with Iraq now is we have not been able to reach a mechanism to receive the fees for gas and electricity," Hosseini said in an interview with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)-affiliated Tasnim news outlet.

On a daily basis, Iran currently exports 1200 to 1500 megawatts of electricity to Iraq, he added, and 37 to 38 million cubic meters of natural gas, used to feed several of Iraq’s power stations.

"Iraq needs 25,000 megawatts, but currently can only produce 15,000 to 16,000 megawatts," he claimed. "Iraqi people are facing severe shortages of electricity and power cuts."

Iran has exported electricity and natural gas to Iraq for more than a decade. It currently exports 3.5 to four billion dollars’ worth of electricity and natural gas a year to its western neighbour.

US sanctions have prevented Baghdad from repaying the roughly $2 billion it owes in unpaid debts to Iran. Under the terms of four consecutive sanction waivers Washington has granted Iraq, it is obliged to stop trading with Iran in dollars.

Casting doubts on a possible easing of Iraq’s gas dependency on Iran, Hosseini added that he does not expect Iraqis to be able to capture and exploit its associated petroleum gas ‐ a process for which Iraq is currently seeking investment and infrastructural assistance ‐ for another three to four years.

Efforts to establish a payment mechanism have been long-running, with Iranian central bank governor Abdolnasser Hemmati meeting with his Iraqi counterpart in Baghdad to sign an agreement for Iraq to settle its dues back in February.

Failure to have finalized a payment route comes despite Hosseini telling Rudaw English in early July that the financial mechanism between Iran and Iraq designed to bypass US sanctions was fully "operational," and that Baghdad had already started depositing money owed to Iran into a special account at the privately-owned Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI).

Iraq is a key source of export revenue for Iran, with $9 billion of Tehran’s $25 billion in non-petroleum exports heading to Baghdad, according to the Joint Chamber of Commerce.

Despite pending payments, an increasing number of land border crossings are opening up between the two countries to facilitate trade.

Current trade volume between Iraq and Iran stands at $13 billion, according to Hassan Danaeifar, secretary of the Committee to Develop Iranian Economic Ties with Iraq.

Russia, China, US are options for Iraq air defense system boost: MP
[Rudaw] Iraq is exploring Chinese, Russian and American options for the reinforcement of its air defenses, an Iraqi politician and senior militia leader has said, amid a series of mysterious drone attacks on Iran-backed targets in the country - despite fears from some politicians that the purchase of a Russian system could antagonize the US.

Iraq is exploring Chinese, Russian and American options for the reinforcement of its air defenses, an Iraqi politician and senior militia leader has said, amid a series of mysterious drone attacks on Iran-backed targets in the country - despite fears from some politicians that the purchase of a Russian system could antagonize the US.

A number of routes to develop Iraq’s air defense system are currently under assessment, said MP, Fatih coalition spokesperson and senior Popular Mobilization Forces leader Ahmed al-Asadi in an interview with al-Mayadeen TV on Friday.

"The Iraqi government and PMF leaders have already started to study the options Iraq has in order to develop its air defense system," al-Asadi said. "Currently, Russia, China and the US are the options."

Weapons depot and bases of the PMF, known in Arabic as Hashd al-Shaabi, have come under drone attacks since July.

Iraq’s pursuit of an improved air defense system predates the spate of attacks on the PMF, with Iraqi ambassador to Moscow Haider Mansour Hadi expressing S-400 interest in May of this year.

However,
nothing needs reforming like other people's bad habits...
the targeting of PMF sites using drones has prompted the Iraqi government to vow to protect the group from attack by bolstering the country’s air defenses.

Mansour al-Bieji, a member of the State of Law Coalition in the Iraqi parliament, said on Wednesday that Iraq may buy the Russian S-400 air defense missile system.

However,
nothing needs reforming like other people's bad habits...
some Iraqi politicians have warned the government against its purchase, pointing to American threats of sanctions on The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
for its purchase of the defense system as a cautionary tale.

With parliament’s summer recess today drawing to a close, political debate regarding the extent of American presence in has switched gears, particularly among majority-Shiite blocs. While some politicians have demanded the withdrawal of all US troops from the country, others argue they continue to be needed as trainers and advisers.

"For the sake of the Iraqi government, trainers and advisers of the US troops can remain, but we say the rest need to withdraw," al-Asadi said.

The Fatih coalition, Sayirun alliance and State of Law bloc aim to send a letter to parliament leadership on Saturday to push discussion of US troop presence in Iraq, he added.

Demand for a halt to the agreement is due mainly to what Asadi says is a "weak US stance" regarding recent attacks on PMF sites, al-Asadi previously told Rudaw.

US troops withdrew from Iraq in 2011, but were invited back to the country in 2014 to advise and train Iraqi forces in the fight against Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS

). There are currently 5,000 American troops stationed at Iraqi bases.

US-led coalition air forces have been participating in Operation Will of Victory, launched by Iraqi forces to quell a resurgence of ISIS in the north and west of the country on July 7.

Abbas: Within a year, no Palestinian will need treatment in Israel
[Jpost] ...Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas vowed that within a year no Palestinian patient would need to receive medical treatment abroad.
"Die at home"
"I told the Minister of Health that within a year, there must inevitably be no patient being treated abroad. Do we lack the skills? I do not think this is a valid argument... and if we lack the equipment, [the need] will be met immediately," Abbas said while inaugurating a private hospital in Ramallah according to the Palestinian News Agency Wafa.

Trump discussed 'Mutual Defense Treaty' with Netanyahu
[Jpost] It wasn’t akin to the US recognizing Israel’s illusory sovereignty over the Golan Heights, but on Saturday US President Trump extended an election gesture to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when he tweeted that he would meet the prime minister later this month and discuss an Israel-US security pact.

"I had a call today with Prime Minister Netanyahu to discuss the possibility of moving forward with a Mutual Defense Treaty, between the United States and Israel, that would further anchor the tremendous alliance between our two countries," Trump tweeted. "I look forward to continuing those discussions after the Israeli Elections when we meet at the United Nations
...aka the Oyster Bay Chowder and Marching Society...
later this month!"

Netanyahu responded by tweeting back to Trump: "Thank you my dear friend President @realDonaldTrump. The Jewish State has never had a greater friend in the White House."

Netanyahu, depending on the outcome of Tuesday election, is expected to attend the UN General Assembly ‐ which Trump will also attend ‐ that begins one week later on September 24.

Last March, some two weeks before the April 9 election, Trump recognized Israel’s control over the Golan Heights in a move that was widely seen as being timed to boost Netanyahu at the polls.

While the idea of a US-Israel defense pact has been discussed on and off for several decades, it has re-emerged in recent months. Sen. Lindsey Graham
...soft-spoken senator from South Carolina, former best buddy of John Maverick McCain. Since McCain's demise, Graham has become more outspoken, more Republican and more of a supporter of President Trump. The speech he gave in support of Brett Kavanaugh was downright manly and really cheesed off the Dems...
(R-South Carolina) broached the proposal in June at a dinner hosted by the Endowment for Middle East Truth, saying he wanted Israel to be added to the list of countries with which the US has treaty obligations.

"I think it is important to send a signal in the 21st century: If you are intending to destroy Israel, you have to go through us, and it will not turn out well for you," he said.

Graham discussed the idea of a treaty when he was in Israel in July. Politically, this is something that could benefit both Netanyahu and Trump in their upcoming electoral battles: Netanyahu in securing a another diplomatic gift from a friendly administration, and Trump in giving something to Israel that will go down well with his evangelical base.

While some analysts view such a treaty as a significant diplomatic achievement, others say such a pact could limit Israel’s operational freedom.

#1  Mutual Defense Treat? hmmm....as if a country attacks Israel and then we are obligated to attack that country? And vise versa. A) We are going to need more materiel. More MOABS, bunker busters and tactical nukes. B) We better read the fine print of the document with our Jewish friends very carefully.

#3  Maybe it's more of a shew of determined alliance for the jew-haters back home, to trigger the bastards into showing themselves. Gawd knows while a Republican president is in office, there's no need for a formal treaty. And Israel has always assisted US security, defense or offense.

#4  Maybe it's more of a shew of determined alliance for the jew-haters back home

Underlining that the Republicans are pro-Israel, while the Democrats have become anti-Israel. Coincidentally, there is an interview in the local newspaper today with the spokesperson for the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, who discusses anti-semitism on both left and right, and explicitly mentions the difficulties experienced by liberal Jewish kids going off to college and being told that Jews are not wanted... while not mentioning neo-Nazis at all.

Given that Jews in America are very active politically, both as donors and as voters despite their small numbers, if numbers of this population just withhold a portion of donations and organization effort, even if they don’t come all the way over to the dark side, that would be a big loss for the Democrats.

This is another step in the re-aligning of the two parties. The Democrats love to claim that Richard Nixon flipped the two parties: the Democrats taking the black vote because they were so open and welcoming and stuff, while the Republicans adopted Southern white racism. Now, with the Walk Away movement picking up some big names among black actors and athletes, not to mention increasing numbers of gays, Hispanics, Asians, and Jews, the change is ready to be publicly underlined. (I don’t want to add a second link here, so just go to walkawaycampaign.com to read testimonials and see videos. Kitty Demure’s video is especially interesting.)

At this rate the last Democratic debate will conclude with a rousing chorus of the Internationale.

Gilad Erdan: There may be a military operation in Gaza in the coming days
“When you least expect it... nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!”
[Jpost] "There may be a military operation and there may be other actions in the coming days, it's dependent on many things," said Strategic Affairs Minister Gilad Erdan in an interview with Kan news on Saturday.

Erdan clarified that the state, of course, needed to try other means to achieve quiet before going to war, but that, after multiple attempts, negotiation attempts between Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, and Israel had failed.

"When we talk about an agreement, we tried and we tried and we tried, it didn't succeed," said Erdan. "Hamas, even though there were 300 [Paleostinians] that we killed when they were trying to breach the border fence in the Friday protests, continues to allow the chaos from the Gazoo

Strip, and therefore there is an understanding today that there will be a need to go into a military operation. The time will be chosen by us and we won't notify them beforehand."

On Friday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel might head to a military operation in the Gaza Strip before elections take place, according to Channel 13.

"It looks like there will be no other choice but to embark on a wide-scale campaign in Gaza," said Netanyahu.

"There probably won’t be a choice but to topple the Hamas regime. Hamas doesn’t exert its illusory sovereignty in the Strip and doesn’t prevent attacks," he said. "We have a situation in which a terror group that launches rockets has taken over, and doesn’t rein in rogue factions even when it wants to."

Iran says it's ready for war with US after Saudi oil attack accusations
Tough talk from towelheads with a collapsing economy
[Sky] Iran has dismissed US accusations it was behind drone attacks on Saudi Arabia's oil plants, and warned it is ready for a "full-fledged" war.

Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi said Washington had adopted a "maximum pressure" strategy against Iran, but because of "its failure [the US] is leaning toward maximum lies".

His remarks came as a senior commander in Iran's Revolutionary Guards said America's military bases and aircraft carriers, which are stationed up to 1,243 miles around Iran, were within range of Iranian missiles.

#6  Surely it will work out just as well as the last time we interfered with Iran's government. You remember, in 1979 when we abandoned the Shah, as he was a human rights violator. The Ayatollahs took over in a completely surprising move. Especially seeing as we had met with them before we gave the green light to them.

Or it will work as well as the time we meddled in Iran in the 50s. That was when we overthrew the elected government for the crime of wanting to share its oil wealth with its people. Bad wrong doubleplusungood! We installed the Shah.

#11  Herb, nobody chooses to go to war for kicks. States that value and wish to keep their international interests and alliances secure are eventually forced to act to preempt the actions of other States on a collision course with them.

States that do not preemptively act often find themselves beset by actors who then get to become quite a bit of a bother.

If America has failed Your knowledge of that is encyclopedic. in any regard at these conflicts or political screwups have been caused, it's because of several factors that impinged upon every respective situation, not because the decision to act itself is flawed.

You can't simply collapse your entire intelligence apparatus, become deaf to alarms from your spies, close your eyes to armed State leaders who declare war on 'America the great Satan', and call it a day.

Syria allegedly considering acquisition of Iran’s new air defense system
[ALMASDARNEWS] Syria intends to acquire Iran’s Bavar-373 air defense system, which was recently modified by the Islamic Theocratic Republic, the Russian aviation website Avia.Pro reported on Saturday.

Citing Syrian journalists, Avia.Pro said Syria is looking acquire the Bavar-373 after the Russian-supplied S-300 system allegedly demonstrated extremely low efficiency durings its trial phase.

"Information about this is actively disseminated by Syrian journalists referring to a certain military source in the country, and, according to recent data, Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
is ready to supply its air defense systems to the Arab Republic at a special cost, but provided that these air defense systems will not depend on Russia," the publication said.

The publication added that the Iranian air defense system shares similar characteristics to the Russian S-300, which should limit the amount of training time needed to use it.

It should be pointed out that neither Iran nor Syria has confirmed these claims.

Syria first acquired the S-300 last October when the Russian Federation made their first delivery of this air defense system.

Russia’s decision to supply Syria with the S-300 came just days after their IL-80 was accidentally shot down by the Syrian air defenses off the coast of Latakia.

Russia blamed Israel for the incident, stating that an Israeli Air Force F-16 used the IL-80 for cover during their exchange with the Syrian air defenses.

UK decision to join Gulf mission frustrates EU plans
[DAWN] Britannia’s decision to join a US-led naval mission in the Gulf has delayed Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
an efforts to set up a maritime force to ensure safe shipping in the Strait of Hormuz separate from American patrols, EU diplomats say.

Britannia and La Belle France proposed a European-led maritime force in July that was to be independent of the United States. They won support from Denmark, Italia and Spain, who were wary of an American mission for fear of making US-Iranian tensions worse.

The proposal was announced after Iran

The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. seized a British-flagged tanker in the Strait, in what was then widely seen as retaliation for the seizure of an Iranian tanker in Gibraltar by British marines. The British-flagged Stena Impero is still being held by Iran, although Tehran has signalled it could release it soon. The Iranian tanker was released from Gibraltar last month.

La Belle France will make a fresh attempt on Sept 16 to set up a mission to protect merchant shipping in the Strait, through which a fifth of the world’s oil passes, hoping to gather some 15 European countries in Gay Paree to discuss a way forward.

But diplomats involved in talks between EU capitals said London’s unexpected change of strategy to join a US-led mission, taken by the new government of Prime Minister Boris Johnson

on Aug 5, has frustrated progress.

"Many of us wanted to do this with Britannia, out of European solidarity, and to avoid the U.S. maximum pressure campaign on Iran," one senior EU diplomat said. "Now it’s all on hold because Britannia sided with the Americans." Britannia, La Belle France and Germany, with support from the rest of the EU, are trying to save the 2015 nuclear accord between Iran and major powers, under which Tehran undertook to curb its nuclear programme in exchange for the lifting of sanctions.

Terror Networks
It’s doubly official: Trump confirms killing of al-Qaeda Heir Hamza Bin Laden
(IraqiNews) United States President Donald Trump
...The tack in the backside of the Democratic Party...
confirmed on Saturday that Hamza bin Laden, the son of the later al-Qaeda founder the late Osama bin Laden
...... who was laid out deader than a mackerel, right next to the mackerel......
, was killed in an operation by the anti-terrorism forces, on the Afghanistan-Pakistain border.

In a statement issed by the White House, Trump said, "The loss of Hamza bin Laden not only deprives al-Qaeda of important leadership skills and the symbolic connection to his father, but undermines important operational activities of the group."

It is noteworthy that in 31 July 2019, U.S. officials announced that Hamza Bin Laden, the son of the later Leader and Founder of al-Qaeda terrorist organization, was killed in U.S. anti-terrorism operation.
Rudaw adds:
The State Department said Hamza was married to a daughter of Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah, a senior Al-Qaeda leader indicted by a US federal grand jury in 1998 for his role in the bombings that year of US embassies in Tanzania and Kenya -- attacks overseen by the senior Bin Laden.
