Emir of Qatar reiterates support for GNA
[Libya Observer] The Emir of Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
, Sheikh Tamim al-Thani reiterated his country's support for the Government of National Accord (GNA), stressing the need to achieve stability and peace in Libya.

He added that the support of some countries to lawless parties is hindering the settlement efforts in Libya.

This came in his statement at the opening of the 48th session of the Qatari Shura Council in Doha, yesterday.

Italian lawmakers: Russian mercenaries concerning turning point in Libya's conflict
[Libya Observer] Italian Parliament members from the governing party have warned that hundreds of Russian mercenaries fighting for Khalifa Haftar
...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all...
's forces in Libya constitute a concerning turning point in the conflict and damage national reconciliation efforts before the international conference in Berlin.

Italian news agency, Aki, reported the politicians as saying that the Russian mercenaries can make difference in the ongoing fighting for Haftar's forces against the forces under the command of Presidential Council's government, "supported by Italia and the UN."

They added that remaining silent is no longer helpful as world powers keep intervening in Libya to destabilize this country "that has very significant strategic importance to Italia."

New York Times

...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

said Tuesday in a report that 200 Russian mercenaries have been despatched to fight alongside Haftar's forces in Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
as part of The Kremlin's expanding influence in the Middle East and Africa.

The New York Times added that Moscow is repeating the same game that it adopted to have a massive influence in the war in Syria.

ICC Prosecutor renews call for surrendering Saif Gaddafi and Mahmoud Al-Werfalli
[Libya Observer] The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Fatou Bensouda has renewed her call on Libyan authorities to surrender to her office Saif al-Islam Qadaffy, son of late dictator Muammar Qadaffy
...a proud Arab institution for 42 years, now among the dear departed, though not the dearest...
, runaway criminal who operates under Khalifa Haftar

's command, Mahmoud al-Werfalli, and al-Tuhami Khalid.

Briefing the UN Security Council on Wednesday, Bensouda said the General Command of Khalifa Haftar's forces don't want to surrender al-Werfalli but rather, he was promoted to new military ranks, saying he, Saif and Khalid are all wanted by the ICC for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Bensouda also said that her office is progressing with investigations in order to bring the wanted criminals in Libya to justice, saying the ICC won't hesitate to issue new arrest warrants of any person who commits war crimes or crimes against humanity in the country.

"Saif appealed the charges against him and the appeals division at the ICC is looking into his appeal." Bensouda added.

She indicated that the three runaway Libyans are wanted for torture and crimes against humanity, saying she believes that Saif Qadaffy is in Zintan, while Khalid is in Cairo, Egypt.

Bensouda urged Khalifa Haftar to surrender al-Werfalli in order to try him for the crimes he committed and the Libyan as well as Egyptian authorities to hand over al-Tuhami Khalid and Saif al-Islam to ICC, calling for more international efforts to end impunity in Libya.

Paris police demolish massive migrant camps as officials vow to stop them from reappearing
[FoxNews] Prime Minister Edouard Philippe has revealed new quotas in France for migrant workers and restrictions on the kind of health care they can receive. The measures, he said, will help France 'take back control' over its expanding migrant population. But will these new policies help France and its economy, or will they end up being more of a detriment than the migrants themselves? The Heritage Foundation's Robin Simcox weighs in.

Police in Paris cleared on Thursday more than 1,500 migrants out of a pair of makeshift tent camps, as officials are vowing that the communities will no longer be tolerated in the French capital.

The massive operation targeting the camps underneath highways in northern Paris began in the early morning and involved nearly 600 police officers. By the time it was finished, an estimated 1,606 migrants were taken away — and police say they will keep a presence in the areas to may sure they don’t come back.

“I will no longer tolerate these installations by the roadside here or anywhere else on public spaces in Paris,” Didier Lallement, the leader of Paris’ police department, was quoted by Reuters as saying.

Buses picked up the migrants – described by Reuters as being mostly men from Africa and the Middle East – and later dropped them off at gyms and other public venues in the Paris area while the makeshift structures they used to call home were demolished.

Interior Minister Christophe Castaner announced that state-sponsored facilities will now house the migrants as their asylum requests are being processed — but any that are denied must leave French territory and some risk deportation.

Some of those who have been granted asylum, he added, are refusing to stay at the housing that they have been offered, Reuters reported.

The removals came a day after Prime Minister Edouard Philippe revealed new quotas in France for migrant workers and restrictions on the kind of health care they can receive. Those measures, he said, will help France “take back control” over its expanding migrant population.

“Retaking control means when we say yes it really means yes, and when we say no it really means no,” Philippe, who serves under President Emmanuel Macron, said Wednesday. “We’ve decided to go far in opening up where we think it’s good for France, and go far in restrictions where the abuses are intolerable.”

Immigration has become a major political concern for Macron’s La Republic en Marche party, as right-wing voters continue to threaten his chances of winning office again in 2022.

Marine Le Pen, leader of the National Rally party and 2017 presidential candidate, remains Macron’s toughest competition for president. Her party topped Macron’s in the European election this summer — it's considered “the first round” of presidential elections.

French authorities cleared a sprawling migrant camp in Calais in 2016 but migrants have since set up a series of camps in Paris that have been demolished by authorities — and then later rebuilt in different parts of the city, according to Reuters.

“[Police] have told me time and again the camps would not come back, but each time they have reappeared,” Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo was quoted as telling reporters Tuesday.

[BREITBART] A member of the Swedish Centre party has said he sees both "disadvantages and advantages" to the practice of having a polygamous marriage.

When asked if he thought people should be able to be married to more than one person at the same time, Cato said: "I think it is a difficult question and it is honestly not something I have thought so much about. I see both the advantages and disadvantages of it."

The 25-year-old also said that, if given the power, he would like to abolish the royal family of Sweden as well.

Turkey Captures Al-Baghdadi's Wife In Syria - Report
[Jpost] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...
has captured a wife of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday, more than a week after the former Islamic State
...formerly ISIS
...embracing their inner Islamic Brute...
or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....

leader killed himself during a raid by U.S. special forces.

"The United States said Baghdadi killed himself in a tunnel. They started a communication campaign about this," Erdogan said

"But, I am announcing it here for the first time: We captured his wife and didn't make a fuss like them. Similarly, we also captured his sister and brother-in-law in Syria,"
...that would be Rasmiya Awad (65), who with hubbie, daughter-in-law and five kiddies lived in a trailer near the town of Azaz...
he said in a speech at Ankara University. He gave no details.
Would he have said anything if he hadn’t needed to show he was still relevant after President Trump neglected to inform him of the purpose of that raid?
A senior Ottoman Turkish official said earlier this week that Turkey had captured Baghdadi's sister, her husband and daughter-in-law, and hoped to gain intelligence from them about Islamic State, although Ankara has not said what knowledge they may have had about the group's operations.
“Dear Abu B. loved my chocolate-chip-banana pancakes with lots of maple syrup and extra crispy bacon,” she told the interrogator yesterday as they sat cozily over yet another pot of Sultan Erdogan’s truly excellent tea. He showed always the deference of one Ummah leader to the relatives of another, though she couldn’t help feeling that he lacked the intellectual depth of her beloved younger brother.
Baghdadi rose from obscurity to lead the ultra-hardline group and declare himself caliph of all Moslems, holding sway over huge areas of Iraq and Syria from 2014-2017 before Islamic State's control was wrested away by a U.S.-led coalition.

Last month, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said two of Baghdadi's wives had also been killed at the site of last month's raid.

The group said a successor to Baghdadi, identified as Abu Ibrahim al-Hashemi al-Quraishi, had been appointed. A senior U.S. official said last week that Washington was looking at the new leader to determine where he came from.

2 Iranians accused of spying on Jewish, Israeli targets in US plead guilty
[IsraelTimes] As part of plea, Ahmadreza Mohammadi-Doostdar admits to travelling to America to relay instructions to Majid Ghorbani on behalf of Tehran.

Two Iranians who were charged with collecting information on Israeli and Jewish targets in the US and on opponents of the Iranian regime have pleaded guilty to acting on behalf of Tehran, the US Justice Department announced Tuesday.

Ahmadreza Mohammadi-Doostdar, 39, a dual US-Iranian citizen, and Majid Ghorbani, 60, an Iranian citizen and resident of Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party,, were arrested last year.

"The Iranian government thought it could get away with conducting surveillance on individuals in the United States by sending one of its agents here to task a permanent resident with conducting and collecting that surveillance," said Jessie K. Liu, United States Attorney for the District of Columbia.

Doostdar is scheduled to be sentenced on December 17 and Ghorbani will receive his sentence on January 15.

As part of his plea, Doostdar admitted he traveled to the United States from Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
on three occasions to meet with Ghorbani and to convey directions for Ghorbani’s activities on behalf of Iran.

According to the indictment released by the Justice Department last year, Doostdar traveled to the United States from Iran in or around July 2017, with the aim of collecting intelligence on entities and individuals considered to be enemies of the Iranian regime.

This included Israeli and Jewish interests, as well as individuals linked to The People’s Mujahedeen (MEK), an Iranian opposition organization which was considered by the US to be a terror organization until 2012.

The indictment states that on or about July 21, 2017, Doostdar carried out surveillance and took photos at several Jewish centers in reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel...
, including the Hillel Center and the Rohr Chabad House, where he is accused of taking detailed pictures of the security measures, and the Hillel Center.

The indictment does not name the Israeli targets.

Doostdar then traveled to California where he met Ghorbani, apparently for the first time, according to the indictment.

Two months later Ghorbani flew to New York for one day where he attended an MEK rally and took photographs of people in attendance.

In December 2017 Doostdar traveled back to California to get the MEK information. In conversations between them recorded by the FBI, Ghorbani mentioned trying to "penetrate" the group, while Doostdar spoke of being directed by others to collect the information.

"I will give it to the guys to do their research," he said of the photographs.

The indictment says he paid $2,000 to Ghorbani in their meetings.

In March and April 2018, Ghorbani went to Iran where, according to the indictment, he briefed government officials on his information on MEK and received a list of "taskings" for infiltrating the dissident group.

Last May, Ghorbani attended the MEK-supported Iran Freedom Convention for Human Rights in Washington as part of the California delegation, where he also took pictures of attendees, including while posing in front of the White House.

Doostdar and Ghorbani were both charged with acting as unregistered agents of the Iranian government and providing the Iran government with services in violation of sanctions.

Last July it was reported that Israel’s Mossad spy agency thwarted a plan to bomb a June 30 conference organized by the MEK in Gay Paree. The operation led to the arrest of a cell headed by an Iranian diplomat.

U.N. slams bleeding Iraqi protesters for closing roads, harming oil supply
[Jpost] The UN Special Representative for the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq slammed protesters for closing roads and disrupting oil on its way to ports, raising the ire of Iraqis who wonder why the UN cares more about oil and roads than people’s lives. It came days after the UN Secretary General visited Turkey and appeared open to a plan by Turkey to settle Syrian refugees in an area that 200,000 have been forced to flee from due to fighting, leading to questions about the overall UN blindspot on suffering in the region.
People's lives, unlike Palestinians' lives, don't pay for 5 course dinners
Jeanine Hennis, a Dutch politician who serves as a diplomat and Special Representative of the Secretary General in Iraq tweeted on Wednesday that the protests in Iraq, where more than 200 protesters have been shot by security forces, are disrupting critical infrastructure. "Also of grave concern. Responsibility of all to protect public facilities. Threats, closure of roads to oil installations, ports causing billions in losses. Detrimental to Iraq’s economy," she wrote. It was undermining fulfilling the protesters’ legitimate demands.
"Look: you're bleeding all over the place and causing a mess"

Israel pushes for UNRWA's closure as leader quits amid misconduct probe
Israel called for UNRWA’s closure Wednesday, as its commissioner-general, Pierre Krähenbuhl, resigned amid a UN probe into ethical misconduct allegations against him and other top officials in the organization tasked with providing humanitarian assistance to 5.5 million Palestinian refugees.

This "is a victory in the campaign against the politicization and incitement against Israel that is at the root of the agency [UNRWA]," Israel's Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon said. "Compounding this, numerous accusations regarding the agency’s conduct signals to the international community that there is no other solution for UNRWA besides its total closure, and it is time to consider alternative models for the refugee issue."

Earlier in the day, the UN said that its Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) found "management issues which relate specifically to the commissioner-general," but did not clarify what those were.

UN spokesman Stephan Dujarric said that with respect to Krähenbuhl, the OIOS’s job was completed and that it had submitted a report to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres that would be studied.

"The fact that Krähenbuhl has resigned impacts whatever decisions the secretary-general will have made, but the content of the report will be studied and will be studied very carefully, to make sure that there are lessons learned," he told reporters in New York.

U.N. Palestinian Agency Chief Steps Aside After ‘Sexual Misconduct, Nepotism, Corruption’ Allegations
[BREITBART] The head of the U.N. agency for Paleostinian refugees has stepped down after a leaked internal report alleged corruption, sexual misconduct, antisemitism, and mismanagement at the agency’s highest levels.

Pierre Krahenbuhl, commissioner general of the agency known as UNRWA, will be replaced on an interim basis by the agency’s acting deputy chief Christian Saunders, it said.

The agency said findings in the probe so far "revealed management issues which relate specifically to the commissioner general."

An internal ethics report has alleged mismanagement and abuses of authority at the highest levels of the agency, which has also faced a financial crisis after US funding cuts.

As Breitbart Jerusalem reported, the investigation was first flagged back in August when New Zealand joined Switzerland
...home of the Helvetians, famous for cheese, watches, yodeling, and William Tell...
, the Netherlands and Belgium in suspending aid to UNRWA over the report, which among other things alleges nepotism on the part of UNRWA Krahenbuhl.

One bigwig named in the report stepped down from his post due to "inappropriate behavior" linked to the investigation, UNRWA said, while another resigned for what the agency called "personal reasons."

In the wake of the leak, U.S. special Mideast envoy Jason Greenblatt called UNRWA "broken," adding "We’re extremely concerned about UNRWA allegations.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Hamas official: Egypt has barred Haniyeh from traveling abroad for past 3 years
[IsraelTimes] Egyptian authorities have barred Hamas, one of the armed feet of the Moslem Brüderbund millipede, chief Ismail Haniyeh
...became Prime Minister of Gaza after the legislative elections of 2006 which Hamas won. President Mahmoud Abbas dismissed Haniyeh from office on 14 June 2007 at the height of the Fatah-Hamas festivities, but Haniyeh did not acknowledge the decree and continues as the PM of Gazoo while Abbas maintains a separate PM in the West Bank...
from traveling outside the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip and Egypt for almost three years to prevent him from meeting with their political rivals, a bigwig in the terror group said in an interview published Tuesday.

The last time Haniyeh traveled beyond Gaza and Egypt was in late 2016 and early 2017 before he was elected Hamas head.

Hamas, which frequently meets with Egyptian intelligence officials mediating between the terror group that rules the Strip and Israel, also maintains close ties with countries that Cairo views as foes such as Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
On Monday, Dar al-Hayat reported that a Hamas delegation including big shots Rawhi Mushtaha and Khalil al-Hayya would travel to Cairo on Wednesday for talks with senior Egyptian intelligence officials and then likely travel to Qatar and Turkey, citing "trusted sources" in the terror group.

That report made no mention of Haniyeh.

Haniyeh lives in the Shati refugee camp in Gaza. Khaled Meshaal, his predecessor, never lived in the West Bank or Gaza while he served as Hamas chairman.

In January, a trip Haniyeh planned to make to Russia to meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov was postponed.

At the time, Abu Marzouk tweeted that he and Mikhail Bogdanov, Russia’s deputy foreign minister and presidential Middle East envoy, had discussed over the phone "the postponement of the chairman of the Hamas Politburo’s visit to another time because of the [Russian] foreign minister’s busy state of affairs."

Abu Marzouk’s tweet made no mention of Egypt preventing Haniyeh from traveling to Russia.

Egypt controls the only crossing out of the Gaza Strip apart from Israel’s.

Israel aiding Syrian Kurds after Turkish incursion, could help counter Iran
[ALMASDARNEWS] Israel is aiding the Syrian Kurds in order to fill the void left by the U.S. troops that withdrew from the Ottoman Turkish border last month, the Deputy Israeli Foreign Minister said on Wednesday, as reported by the Rooters News Agency.

In a rare public dissent with U.S. President Donald Trump
...His ancestors didn't own any slaves...
, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered humanitarian aid to the "gallant Kurdish people" on Oct. 10, saying they faced possible "ethnic cleansing" by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...
and its Syrian allies.

Tzipi Hotovely, Israel’s deputy foreign minister, told parliament on Wednesday that the offer had been taken up.

"Israel has received many requests for assistance, mainly in the diplomatic and humanitarian realm," she said. "We identify with the deep distress of the Kurds, and we are assisting them through a range of channels."

Syrian Kurdish officials could not immediately be reached for comment.

Hotovely did not elaborate on the Israeli assistance, other than to say that during "dialogue with the Americans..., we state our truth regarding the Kurds...and we are proud of our taking a stand alongside the Kurdish people".

Israel has maintained discreet military, intelligence and business ties with the Kurds since the 1960s, regarding the minority ethnic group ‐ whose indigenous population is split between Iraq, Turkey, Syria and Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites.
‐ as a buffer against shared adversaries.

Chief among those today are Iranian-sponsored forces deploying close to Israel’s borders, including within Syria.

"Israel indeed has a salient interest in preserving the strength of the Kurds and the additional minorities in the north Syria area as moderate and pro-Western elements," Hotovely said.

Russia in possession of advanced Israeli missile captured in Syria
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Russian Armed Forces are in possession of an advanced Israeli missile that was fired into Syria last year, the Chinese news site Sina reported this week.

According to the report, the advanced Israeli surface-to-air missile that was fired from the David’s Sling system was handed over to the Russian military from the Syrian Armed Forces after it was found intact inside of Syria.

The report said the Israeli surface-to-air missile was fired into Syria on July 23, 2018; it maintained some minor damage from the impact, but it was still intact and transferred to the Russians for further research.

They would add that the reason the Syrians handed it over to the Russian military was for "reverse engineering" purposes.

"David’s Sling was developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and American defense contractor Raytheon. The system is designed to intercept enemy planes, drones, medium- to long-range rockets and cruise missiles and the newest generation of tactical ballistic missiles at low altitude," the Jerusalem Post said.

Neither the Israeli nor Russian ministries of defense have commented on this latest report from the Sina news agency.

ISIS fighters in southern Syria pledge allegiance to new leader
[ALMASDARNEWS] The Islamic State

or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....

(ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) murderous Moslems in the southern governorate of Daraa this week pledged their allegiance to the new leader of the group.

The terrorist group’s official media wing released several photos on Wednesday that showed their fighters in the Daraa Governorate pledging their allegiance to the new Islamic State leader Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi.

While the Islamic State controls no areas in southern Syria, they do maintain several sleeper cells inside the al-Quneitra, Daraa, and al-Sweida governorates.

The Islamic State were previously active in these governorates of southern Syria before their defeat at the hands of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the Summer of 2018.

This latest move comes just a week after the terrorist group’s long-time leader and founder Abu Ibrahim al-Baghdadi killed himself during a U.S. raid on his position in the Idlib Governorate town of Barisha.

Syriac Military Council on a mission to protect northern Syria's Christian villages
[RUDAW.NET] Over the course of Operation Peace Spring, Christian villages in Tel Tamr have been pummeled by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
and and its aligned forces.

The Syriac Military Council, an Assyrian/Syriac military organization is assigned by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to protect the Christian villagers in the area.

"Erdogan-backed gunnies are 2 kilometers away from this village. You can hear their shelling and bombardment. We, as the Syriac Military Council, are spread across the Assyrian villages and are ready to defend our citizens from any attack, together with the People’s Protection Units (YPG) and Syrian army," explains Syriac Military Council fighter Carlos Ashuri.

Madelin is a local Syriac mother of three. She left her children at home and joined the group to protect their village.

"We Assyrians are 17,000 people spread across the Jazira Region in northeastern Syria. Our villages were paradise on earth. Before ISIS

coming to the region, other differently named groups attacked our region. After the situation calmed down, we were living peacefully. Life was somehow good. Now, Turkey is coming and repeating the same history. They want to return the mess and conflicts to northeast Syria"

Most Christians fled the 33 villages they had inhabited in the Tel Tamr region during Islamic State

's onslaught in 2014.

Nabil Warda, spokesperson for Syriac Military Council, provides details for their employment in the area.

"Our forces have been deployed in eight villages. They’ve come to the region to over see the situation. Thanks to God, the situation of the villages is calm. They’ve also welcomed displaced people from Sari Kani who have come to the Assyrian villages."

Conflicts took place in six Tel Tamr villages on Sunday, November 3. Three people were killed and four injured. One of the dead was Zau Seng, a member of an international humanitarian organization the Free Burma Rangers.

Air Force Updates Massive Ordnance Penetrator Bombs Amid New Iranian Nuclear Posturing
[The Drive.com] The U.S. Air Force is continuing to update its stockpile of 30,000-pound class Massive Ordnance Penetrator bunker busters, or MOPs, and bring older MOPs up to the latest standard, also known as the GBU-57E/B. This comes as Iran has announced that it will begin injecting uranium hexafluoride gas into centrifuges at its underground nuclear facility at Fordo ‐ the kind of prospective target that drove the development of the MOP in the first place ‐ a significant breach of the controversial 2015 international agreement over the country's nuclear program.

On Oct. 28, 2019, the Air Force announced that it had awarded $90 million contracts to both Superior Forge & Steel Corp. of Lima, Ohio and Ellwood National Forge in Irvine, Pennsylvania for the production of an unspecified number of case assemblies for the BLU-127C/B warhead. The service separately confirmed to The War Zone that this is the warhead at the core of the GBU-57E/B variant, which has been in operational inventory since 2016. The B-2 Spirit stealth bomber is presently the only aircraft capable of and clear to employ the MOP operationally, though B-52 bombers have dropped some of the weapons in prior testing. The future B-21 Raider stealth bomber will also likely be able to carry these weapons.
