[MR] Richard Howell, a resident of Massachusetts and a long-time friend of MassResistance, traveled to Washington, DC on Jan. 6 to hear President Trump’s speech near the White House and then attend the scheduled pro-Trump rally outside the US Capitol building.
What he saw was quite different than what most Americans have heard from the media (much of which are outright lies) — and certainly different from any other conservative rally. Since then, many reports have appeared in conservative media of intense infiltration by Antifa there that day (see here and here and here) to create the trouble.
OODA. Mr. Howell saw clearly, and understood the meaning of what he was seeing. Go read the whole thing, and check out their links to other reports, including Michael Yon with the Epoch Times:

/\ "Light of day"... no probably not. Of course I live in George and my glass is half empty. After insidious layabouts Ossoff and Warnock became US Senators, where else could the water level in my glass be ?

Knew people who lived in Foley, loved the beach on the Alabama coast. I'll see it for myself if I drive to the NRA convention in Houston this fall...

[France24] US biotechnology firm Moderna on Monday said lab studies showed its Covid-19 vaccine would remain protective against variants of the coronavirus first identified in the United Kingdom and South Africa.
But out of caution, the company will test adding a second booster of its vaccine — to make three shots in total — and has begun preclinical studies on a booster specifically for the South African variant.
"We are encouraged by these new data, which reinforce our confidence that the Moderna Covid-19 Vaccine should be protective against these newly detected variants," said Stephane Bancel, Moderna's CEO.
"Out of an abundance of caution and leveraging the flexibility of our mRNA platform, we are advancing an emerging variant booster candidate against the variant first identified in the Republic of South Africa into the clinic."
To study the impact of the existing vaccine, called mRNA-1273, Moderna took blood samples from eight people who had received two doses of the vaccine, and two primates that had also been immunized.
[MEDIAite] Rupert Murdoch, head of News Corp. and Fox Corporation, said that media organizations are facing widespread "censorship" that seeks to "stop individuals and societies from realizing their potential."
Murdoch made the statement in his pre-taped acceptance of a lifetime achievement award from the Australia Day Foundation, the New York Times reports. Murdoch, whose News Corp. Australia properties reach more than 17 million Australians monthly, and whose Fox News Twitter account has 20 million followers, also referred in the video to "rigidly enforced conformity, aided and abetted by so-called social media" as being a "straitjacket on sensibility."
"For those of us in media," Murdoch says in the video, "there’s a real challenge to confront: a wave of censorship that seeks to silence conversation, to stifle debate, to ultimately stop individuals and societies from realizing their potential. This rigidly enforced conformity, aided and abetted by so-called social media, is a straitjacket on sensibility. Too many people have fought too hard in too many places for freedom of speech to be suppressed by this awful woke orthodoxy."
The Australia Day Foundation is a non-profit organization for Australian-born leaders in business, entertainment, sports, and other areas living in the United Kingdom. The Australia Day Awards are given to "those in our community you have made a significant contribution to Australian-UK relations."
Murdoch is from Australia, and is also a U.S. citizen, but has been spending the coronavirus pandemic in his home in England, where he received the coronavirus vaccine.

Does this explain the changes after Fox’s awful Election Day behaviour — that Daddy Murdoch spoke firmly to his lads about how they’ve been mishandling his legacy?

This about Twitter Accounts, dated but accurate:
Oct 30, 2018 Now that the limit is 280 characters, the most common length of a tweet is 33 characters. Historically, only 9% of tweets hit Twitter's 140-character limit, now it's 1%.
To me it illustrates the "limited" capacity of communications between communicators and perhaps the limited intellectual capability of the communicators. 1% of ________ <-- fill in the blank
[American Greatness] Before we are all reprogrammed, remember for a bit longer that the reset of memory and truth is not just a political agenda, but a holistic effort to redefine our past, present, and future.
We are expected to forget that for over 90 summer days, there was utter havoc in dozens of American cities. Downtowns were ravaged. Stores were looted. Arson was customary. More than 700 police were injured and spat upon. In all, those “mostly peaceful” protests did billions of dollars in damage, leaving thousands of business owners bankrupt, and at least three-dozen people dead.
In other words, the visuals were the same old, same old we had seen during the violent 2017 Inauguration Day protests in Washington, the rioting in Ferguson and Baltimore, in New York during the final stages of the Occupy Wall Street take over, and the WTO violence over two decades ago in Seattle—with one major exception. This time the authorities saw far more election-year political advantage in defending the violence than in suppressing it, and so made the necessary adjustments, at least until Election Day.
The mayors of the targeted cities like Portland, Seattle, Chicago, and Minneapolis contextualized and supported the mayhem (“block party” and “summer of love”). They cared little for the thousands of lives that were wrecked by the destruction.
Joe Biden excused Antifa as a mere “idea” (a presidential ante facto impeachable offense?)—largely because millions of his supporters condoned or explained away the violence, and they said so publicly. The New York Times architect of the “1619 Project,” Nikole Hannah-Jones boasted at the height of the unrest, “Destroying property, which can be replaced, is not violence.” She’s lucky none of the oppressed took her literally or seriously enough to storm the New York Times. One wonders what is the further utility of BLM and Antifa after the Biden election, and whether erstwhile dead-ender “protestors” may now be recategorized as “rioters” given the suddenly bad optics.
[Babylon Bee] LOS ANGELES, CA—In a stunning reversal of almost a full year of devastating lockdowns that decimated California businesses, California Governor Gavin Newsom has decided to reverse them all and finally allow businesses to get back to work.
He was last seen shouting at a row of abandoned businesses, telling them it was time to reopen.
"I'm not sure why everyone left," said Newsom, hanging his head. "We followed the dictates of SCIENCE and saved billions of lives. Everyone should be thanking me!"
When asked if Newsom's sudden and drastic reversal of lockdowns had anything to do with his declining popularity and efforts to recall him as Governor, he dismissed the accusations as "absurd."
"This has nothing to do with politics," said the politician. "This is what SCIENCE told me to do! I'm serious-- SCIENCE was standing at the foot of my bed last night and clearly told me it was time to end the lockdowns! I mean-- it took me a while to understand him because he was speaking a mixture of ancient Latin and Sumerian in 12 different voices, but once I finally translated SCIENCE's message, I knew it was time to open businesses in California once again!
"Hey, all you little people with your quaint little businesses! You can reopen now!" said Newsom to a deserted and dilapidated row of storefronts in L.A. "Hey-- where is everybody? Why isn't everyone celebrating?"
Unbeknownst to him, everyone had already left to live in Texas.

[Politico] A majority of Americans support the second impeachment of former President Donald Trump and want to see him convicted in the Senate and barred from holding future federal office, according to a new poll released Monday by Monmouth University.
The poll found 56 percent of Americans approve of the the House of Representatives impeaching Trump for his role in inciting the insurrection at the Capitol on Jan. 6, a slight uptick compared with his first impeachment — 53 percent of those surveyed by Monmouth University in January 2020 approved.
A breakdown by party identification shows the poll's results still fall largely along partisan lines. While 92 percent of Democrats and 52 percent of independents support the impeachment, only 13 percent of Republicans are in favor — a modest increase from 8 percent the first time Trump was impeached last January, according to the poll.
"There is somewhat more agreement that Trump did something wrong than there was with the first impeachment," said Patrick Murray, the director of the independent Monmouth University Polling Institute, in a statement. "But there are still a good number of Republican stalwarts who continue to stand with the former president regardless."
