[American Thinker] In 2021, Disney greenlit Strange World, an animated movie about a family journeying through a mysterious land to save a resource that’s losing its energy. Bob Iger, who is returning to Disney to "save" it from Bob Chapek’s sad tenure, was still on board in 2021, so he must have greenlit it. That’s a relevant fact because the movie bombed at the box office. Coincidentally or not, the movie has an openly gay subtext as one of the main male characters crushes on another boy.
Before the movie opened, the media wanted audiences to know about the gay romance, probably under the mistaken belief that audiences would care:
Disney’s upcoming adventure film "Strange World" will feature a gay teen romance — the first in an animated feature produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios.
On Friday, Disney screened three sequences from the film at the 2022 Annecy International Animation Film Festival, one of the world’s most important festivals for the film animation industry that takes place in the city of Annecy, in southeast France.
In one of them, Ethan (Young-White) flirts with a boy named Diazo in front of his friends, who tease him in a friendly way.
His father, Searcher Clade (Gyllenhaal), later joins in and embarrasses him in "an overeager show of acceptance," as the scene is described by Variety.

Most people I know are both agnostic and apathetic about homosexuals. They don't consider if harmful per se, but they aren't all in on it being "normal."
I consider it a harmless genetic defect. Except the variation that thinks buggering young kids is just dandy. Those people should either be locked away for ever or executed. Take your pick.

The problem is, gheys don't want live and let live. They want the gummint beating you over the head to validate their lifestyle choices while the gummint schools indoctrinate your children in gheyness.
It's a recipe for antipathy, push back and backlash from the non ghey majority.

You are correct, TW? However, the ones that aren't in everyone else's face aren't exactly trying to blunt the loudmouths' message.
Sort of like "moderate muzlims."

I have a number of strong opinions, M. I’ll discuss them here, and with certain of my analog friends and relations, but very rarely on Facebook, and never on Twitter, YouTube, etc. What must the FB crowd think of me, based on the evidence they see?
President Joe Biden’s approval rating has been wavering in the high 30s and low 40s, with even Democrats saying they weren’t sure they’d support him again should he choose to run in 2024.
But all that changed after Democrats performed far better than expected in the midterm elections. While they lost the House, there was no Red Wave. And Democrats held onto control of the Senate, where some pollsters were predicting they could have lost up to seven seats.
Now, almost three in four Democrats (71%) say Biden could win if he runs for another White House term in 2024, according to a USA Today-Ipsos poll. That’s an 11-point jump from August. The attention span of gnats
Half of the Democratic voters surveyed in the latest poll believe Biden "should be the nominee and deserves reelection." That’s up six points from August.
The poll, released Sunday, indicated overall that Democrats are feeling better about Biden after Democrats pulled off surprising wins in key races nationwide, fending off Trump-backed candidates in high-profile contests in Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Arizona.
"The USA Today-Ipsos poll found that voters’ perception that Biden can win in 2024 jumped notably among women (55 percent in August to 71 percent in November) and among voters aged 18-34 (53 percent in August to 69 percent in November)," The Hill reported.
That’s a big change from July, when a CNN poll found 75% of Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters want the party to nominate someone other than Biden.

If DeSantis is the nominee and Trump decides to go independent We may have a Ross Pero situation where the conservative vote is split and Biden wins.

Fair to say under the current system they can elect anyone or anything.

The fight for 2024 will be through control of the voter rolls.

#2 Yes, that is the reality based scenario. The simulation scenario ( in which we currently find ourselvles) has already been coded and the winner decided. All that remains is to plug in that one variable asset that will be the loser.

Factor in the announcement that Gov Hairdoo is out for 2024 with a seemingly definitive statement and you have to wonder if the blocks are falling in place for the Political Theater mask of the voter-fraud in 2024. The question is who, because Jojo is about played out. Big Mike, the Cackle-Jackal after a pre-frontal lobotomy, Pretty Pete, or my guess for a new dark-horse candidate, Susan Rice?

The Clinton's designed the Perot tactic and employed it effectively twice. It will work again...
[NYP] The tension between former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is coming to a boil. "A boil we're raising cuz we need the clicks!"
Trump fired the latest shot in the ongoing political skirmish Thursday, posting a clip of Megyn Kelly declaring that DeSantis had no shot at topping the 45th president in any potential contest for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.
"I AGREE!," Trump wrote emphatically on his Truth Social platform.
Appearing on conservative pundit Dave Rubin’s BlazeTV show, Kelly said the Floridian would fold under the weight of Trump’s notoriety and the loyalty of his base.
"You don’t think DeSantis is crafty enough?" Rubin asked the former Fox News personality.

I have been amused recently at the emergence of the "Never Anyone But Trump" movement. I don't bother going to CON-servative Treehouse anymore because of all the "DeSantis is the deep state" nonsense.
I personally hope Ron DeSantis does not run in 2024. Until efforts are made at the state level around the country to clean up the voting mess as it exists right now, why should he subject himself to that?

Get ready for ranked choice voting. The best answer to selecting the preferred establishment candidate. The Republican Party did it this year in my congressional district primary.
[ZERO] In Georgia's January 2021 runoff, control of the Senate was at stake. With Democrats already holding 50 seats plus Vice President Kamala Harris' tie-breaking vote, that won't the the case with the Dec. 6 runoff pitting GOP challenger Herschel Walker against incumbent Raphael Warnock.
Still, both parties are pouring millions into this race -- because winning a 51st seat in Georgia would greatly ease Democrats' rule over the Senate.
A tied Senate "slows everything down," Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer told the Associated Press. "So it makes a big difference to us."
That would be true right from the start of the next session of Congress. If Democrats are stuck on a 50-50 tie, Schumer will have to once again negotiate a power-sharing arrangement with the GOP's Mitch McConnell, covering the composition of committees and rules for advancing legislation for a floor vote. Last time around, McConnell used that process to obtain assurances from Democrats that they wouldn't kill the filibuster.
In the current Senate, committees have an equal number of Democrats and Republicans. If Warnock wins, expect Democrats to have a two-seat majority on each committee. Tied committee votes necessitate extra steps on the Senate floor to advance nominations and legislation.
A two-seat edge in the full Senate would dull the moderating power of Democratic Senators Joe Manchin (WV) Kyrsten Sinema (AZ). Today, each one effectively holds a veto power over Democratic proposals, and has used it to frustrate the most ambitious proposals of the progressive left. With both facing reelection races in 2024, they'll be motivated to continue showcasing moderation for their respective states.
Fifty-one votes is all it takes to approve federal judicial nominations, so a Warnock win would free the Democrats to easily pump more leftist judges into the system.
Perhaps nobody's as excited about the prospect of 51 Democratic senators than Kamala Harris. The Senate math forces her to stay close to Washington so she can cast her tie-breaking votes. Indeed, she's a handful of votes away from breaking a nearly two-century-old record set by Vice President John Calhoun.

It will motivate the Dems to cheat again. It will be difficult to motivate Republicans with Mitch still in leadership. Minority Mitch is also set up to continue to negotiate with Schumer to sell us out for his profit and the profit of his compromised lackeys.
