[PJ] A former Democratic Party leader in Texas funded an "organized voter fraud ring" in Fort Worth with money he received from campaigns, state officials claim.
Earlier this month, four women were arrested and indicted on nearly thirty felony counts of voter fraud: Leticia Sanchez; her daughter, Leticia Sanchez Tepichin; Rosa Solis; and Laura Parra.
The state’s notice of intent in Leticia Sanchez’s criminal case states that "Sanchez engaged in organized criminal activity in collaboration with her three co-defendants" and Stuart Clegg, the former executive director for the Tarrant County Democratic Party.
After learning about the state investigation into her "vote harvesting group," the elder Sanchez had her daughter send text messages to the others involved in the scheme, advising them not to cooperate with investigators, according to the notice.
One message, translated from Spanish, stated: "Hello, there is a group of malicious people investigating our work. We have been told by our boss, Mr. Stuart, that we should not give any information. Just give them the phone number of the lawyer who is in charge of this matter. If anyone has contacted you, asked any type of questions, please tell us immediately so we can let the lawyer know. Notify immediately."
"I would tell anybody it’s a good idea, before you talk to investigators, to make sure you talk to an attorney," Clegg told the Star-Telegram. "Isn’t that just general sense?"
State officials say Sanchez collaborated with others to use residents’ mail-in ballots to vote for certain down-ballot candidates during the 2016 Democratic primary.
[Town Hall] A woman who accused Justice Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault admitted to congressional investigators she made up her claims to "get attention."
According to a letter sent to Attorney General Jeff Sessions late Friday afternoon, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley referred Judy Munro-Leighton for criminal prosecution and revealed her actions were part of a ploy to take down Kavanaugh's nomination.
From the letter, bolding is mine:
Given her relatively unique name, Committee investigators were able to use open-source research to locate Ms. Munro-Leighton and determine that she: (1) is a left-wing activist; (2) is decades older than Judge Kavanaugh; and (3) lives in neither the Washington DC area nor California, but in Kentucky.
On November 1, 2018, Committee investigators connected with Ms. Munro-Leighton by phone and spoke with her about the sexual-assault allegations against Judge Kavanaugh she had made to the Committee. Under questioning by Committee investigators, Ms. Munro-Leighton admitted, contrary to her prior claims, that she had not been sexually assaulted by Judge Kavanaugh and was not the author of the original “Jane Doe” letter. When directly asked by Committee investigators if she was, as she had claimed, the “Jane Doe” from Oceanside California who had sent the letter to Senator Harris, she admitted: “No, no, no. I did that as a way to grab attention.
She further confessed to Committee investigators that (1) she “just wanted to get attention”; (2) “it was a tactic”; and (3) “that was just a ploy.” She told Committee investigators that she had called Congress multiple times during the Kavanaugh hearing process – including prior to the time Dr. Ford’s allegations surfaced – to oppose his nomination.
Regarding the false sexual-assault allegation she made via her email to the Committee, she said: “I was angry, and I sent it out.” When asked by Committee investigators whether she had ever met Judge Kavanaugh, she said: “Oh Lord, no.”
Grassley has also referred Julie Swetnik, Michael Avanetti and an unnamed man for criminal prosecution after making false claims to congressional investigators.

Won't see a day in jail, will get a GoFundMe payoff from libs. If they have so much money why not spend it on all the things they claim are "underfunded?"

I wonder who the real Jane Doe is who sent a letter to Sen. Kamala Harris? A staff member of Harris? You can't believe anything these Dems tell you. The Dems should be labeled a terrorist or criminal organization and treated as such.
[The Hill] A federal judge issued a ruling Friday removing barriers to voters flagged as non-citizens by Georgia's "exact match" rules, easing their ability to vote in next week's midterm election.
It's a victory for Democrats, who had worried the rule could keep some of their voters away from the polls during Tuesday's midterm elections. Democrats had been particularly worried the rule could hurt absentee and early voters from their party.
They cast the decision as a win for Democrats and a defeat for the Georgia secretary of state, Brian Kemp, who is also the Republican candidate for governor.
"Another day, another major defeat for Brian Kemp’s voter suppression efforts," Rebecca DeHart, executive director for the Democratic Party of Georgia, said in a statement.
Voting rights has become a major issue in Kemp's race against Democrat Stacy Abrams, who would be the nation's first African-American woman elected governor if she wins. The two are locked in a tight race.
Kemp's office largely shrugged off the decision.
In a statement, Candice L. Broce, press secretary and staff attorney at the office, called it "a minor change to the current system."
Eleanor L. Ross, U.S. district judge from the Northern District of Georgia, ruled that if the exact match rules were kept in place, it could cause people with suspended voter registration applications "irreparable harm if they lose the right to vote."

Democrats continue to devote their time and energy upon those who could care less. The give me people don't expect to work for anything and to vote for them is work. The funding for the Democrats are outside interests hoping to destabilize our country. In my opinion the uproar about Russia is the possible diversion of funds they rely on so heavily. China would be another. This sort of influence peddling has been going on for as long as people have been in this country. Benedict Arnold comes to mind. The true corrupt individuals of the Continental congress among others. They had their share of Clinton's.

"Another day, another major defeat for Brian Kemp’s voter suppression efforts," Rebecca DeHart, executive director for the Democratic Party of Georgia, said in a statement.
She then went on to promise that "Dead people will soon have the franchise returned to them! Vote for the Democratic Party Once -- then you vote for them for Eternity! Catchy slogan, right?" (/sarc, if it is needed)
