[Miami Herald] New York Mayor Bill de Blasio became the latest presidential candidate to flash a little español this week when, during a political rally Thursday, he pulled out a Spanish phrase he thought might motivate workers striking at Miami International Airport.
But instead of endearing himself to South Florida’s Hispanic diaspora, an apparently unwitting de Blasio uttered a revolutionary rallying cry deeply associated with Fidel Castro’s Communist revolution and a man viewed by hundreds of thousands of Cuban exiles as a sociopath and mass murderer. "apparently unwitting" is far too generous
In a gaffe that forced him to apologize hours later, de Blasio quoted notorious Argentine revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara as he spoke Thursday in Terminal D to contract workers protesting poor pay and unsafe conditions. The big-city mayor apparently thought he was saying something akin to the United Farm Workers’ co-opted Si se puede! and instead dropped Che’s most famous quote ‐ instantly enraging Florida Democrats and illustrating concerns that some of the Democratic Party’s biggest figures remain ignorant to the intricacies of Miami politics.
"This is the problem that we run into all the time," Annette Taddeo, a Colombian-American state senator who spoke at the rally before de Blasio, said of the nuances of campaigning in South Florida. "The left has [some] people that are just clueless as hell."
De Blasio, who was in Miami this week to participate in the presidential debates, got into trouble Thursday when he appeared at the airport for a rally for ramp and cargo workers. With a crowd of around 100 chanted behind him, de Blasio urged them to unionize. "The eyes of the world are on this airport, the eyes of the world are on Miami-Dade."

De Blasio probably checked with Booker, O'Rourke or Castro for a pithy Spanish quote to use before the debates. I guess he could default to the Dem ploy "It was Russian collusion--Orange Man." Most likely De Blasio was DOA before the debates; IMO he will get booted. One backer the last I heard--some mayor in NC.

Bill de Blasio decided to address the largest anti-Castro community in America with a Che quote. You might start to think these are all agents working to get the biggest landslide in history for Trump in 2020.
[REDSTATE] When it comes to so-called "abortion rights", Democratic presidential candidate Julián Castro believes no one should be excluded from the right to choose ‐ including men who identify as women. "Yo soy Cornhoolian!"
At last night’s Democratic debate, Castro was asked about his position on abortion rights and if his healthcare plan would cover abortion costs. Here’s what the former housing secretary had to say:
"I don’t believe only in reproductive freedom, I believe in reproductive justice. And, you know, what that means is just because a woman, or let’s also not forget someone in the trans community, a trans female, is poor doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have the right to exercise that right to choose."

Julian Castro is the identical twin brother of current United States Representative Joaquin Castro. I'm mot sure which Juan is the evil twin. I'll go with both.
A well-hung woman fights
For reproductive rights
To force a man with tits
To use his bakin' bits.

"Maybe... if I can change the baby."

[Politico] It passed almost unnoticed, but history suggests we just saw a potent political weapon get pointed at two top candidates, Warren and Bernie Sanders. Because no Pubs have watched the debates, searching for ammunition. I hope one of Trump's folks bookmark this article.
The moment came when the 10 participants were asked, by a show of hands, who would dispense entirely with private health insurance. Only New York Mayor Bill de Blasio and Warren signaled "yes." That's when former Rep. John Delaney, one of the least visible of the 24 announced candidates, weighed in.
After pushing back on the idea of taking something away from Americans that most are reasonably happy with, we already been down that road Delaney said this:
"Also it’s bad policy. If you go to every hospital in this country and you ask them one question, which is how would it have been for you last year if every one of your bills were paid at the Medicare rate? Every single hospital administrator said they would close. And the Medicare for All bill requires payments to stay at current Medicare rates. So to some extent we’re basically supporting a bill that will have every hospital closed." Unless, or course, you're gonna nationalize the hospitals.
And then he finished with a stinger about his electrician father on union health insurance: "He’d look at me, and he’d say ’Good job, John, for getting health care for every American, but why are you taking my health care away?’"
Delaney might have been talking to the very, very, very long-shot mayor of New York. But the other person who raised her hand to essentially scrap private insurance was the much more plausible Senator Warren. And a Democratic former congressman‐not some right-wing think tank or Freedom Caucus Republican‐was saying, on TV, that her policy would threaten the survival of just about every hospital in the country, and yank good insurance from working people.
And a year from now‐an eternity in campaign time, but not too long to keep the issue warm in a big oppo file‐it wouldn't be hard at all for Donald Trump, on Twitter and in ads and on a debate stage, to point out that a member of Warren's own party, sharing the same stage, implied that her health care ideas would be dangerous for America. (The same applies in spades for self-identified socialist Sanders.)

Both Warren and Sanders are walking and talking splodadopes as are the other 18.
[THEHILL] White House hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders ...The only first openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords. He ran for the 2016 nomination for president, to be cheated out of it by Hillary Clinton, then went back to being a socialist... (I-Vt.) declined to commit to exit the presidential primary race before the Democratic convention if he fails to win the party’s nomination.
"I intend to be the Democratic nominee," he said on MSNBC Wednesday.
"Some people say that if maybe that system was not rigged against me, I would have won the nomination and defeated Donald Trump ...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US... . That’s what some people say. So I think we’re going to play it out," he added. "So our goal right now is to win it, and by the way, as you may know, poll after poll shows what against Trump? It shows me beating Trump by 8, 9, or 10 points. We’re going to beat Trump, we’re going to win the Democratic nomination. "
Sanders faced widespread criticism from across the party after the 2016 race that his insistence on carrying out his campaign through the Democratic National Convention even after it became clear he had fallen short of the necessary delegates to win the nomination forced Crooked Hillary Clinton ...former first lady, former secretary of state, former presidential candidate, Conqueror of Benghazi, Heroine of Tuzla, formerly described by her supporters as the smartest woman in the world, usually described by the rest of us as The Thing That Wouldn't Go Away... to continue battling an intraparty dispute and hurt her standing in the general contest against Donald Trump.
He has long railed against the Democratic National Committee for overseeing what he slammed as a "rigged" nominating process that favored Clinton over his bully boy progressive campaign. While hacked emails revealed a preference among top party officials for Clinton over Sanders, no steps were made to materialize those desires.

Donald Trump was the big winner in the Democrat debates.

He's not a Democrat. What's he doing trying to steal their nomination?
He tried that last time and they rigged the primary against him. And then they won in court claiming they didn't have to respect the vote and could nominate whoever they liked.

[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] Former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke; ...Kennedyeque businessman, musician, skateboard artiste, and politician who represented Texas' 16th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019. Beto is a Latino nickname for people whose names end in "erto," like "Roberto" or "Alberto." He is seeking the Dem nomination for President in 2020 because he has nice hair and lots of teeth. He was born into a local political family in El Paso, Texas and is a graduate of a prep school and Columbia University, which is not in Texas. In 2005, he was elected to the El Paso City Council. He was elected to Congress in 2012 after defeating eight-term incumbent Silvestre Reyes in the Democratic primary. He declined to seek re-election in 2018, instead running for the Senate against Republican Ted Cruz, running a campaign that drew national attention because of his skateboarding skills. A few months after he lost, he announced his campaign for President... dodged a question about a proposed top income rate of 70 per cent in two languages on Wednesday evening - sidestepping the issue in English and Spanish at a Democratic debate.
His second answer was so confusing that fellow candidate Cory Spartacus Booker U.S. Senator-for-Life from Noo Joisey, formerly the mayor of Newark. Booker is a candidate for president in 2020, running on a platform of Make America Newark. He once wrote an essay on how to grope babes. He is noted for having an imaginary friend named T-Bone... , who answered a question later in Spanish, was caught giving him the side eye.
O'Rourke became an early target after fielding the first question of the debate on MSNBC. A moderator asked him about the raising the rates on top earners, which is a notion that Rep. Alexandria Boom Boom Ocasio-Cortez Dem represntative from da Bronx in Noo Yawk and leader of the Mean Girl Caucus in Congress. One of the Great Minds of the 21st Century, she is known as much for her innaleck as for her dance moves. She is all in favor of socialism, even though she's fuzzy on the details... floated for millionaires when she came to Congress.
'This economy has got to work for everyone. And right now we know that it isn't. And it's going to take all of us coming together to make sure that it does,' O'Rourke said, reverting to his campaign boilerplate language.
Then he switched to Spanish to deliver his non-answer for viewers again.

Would have thought this was the Babylon Bee satirically striking again with stealth and repartee.
[BREITBART] Presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Being Native American has been part of my story since the day I was born Warren ...Dem Senatrix from Massachussetts, who traces her noble lineage all the way back to Big Chief Spouting Bull. It has been alleged that she speaks with forked tongue but she denies that. She had a DNA test to prove her lineage and it turns out she's colorless... (D-MA) said during Wednesday’s debate that gun violence is a "national health emergency in this country."
She suggested that solutions might include "universal background checks" and banning "weapons of war," a reference to "assault weapons."
Warren did not mention that Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, adopted universal background checks in the early 1990s, yet the state has witnessed mass shooting upon mass shooting in the decades since.
She also omitted the fact that California has an "assault weapons" ban, yet the shootings continue.
She said, "We can also double down on the research and find out what really works."
Warren added, "We need to treat it like a serious research problem, which we have not done."

Meaning "I don't have solutions. I can only whine and stomp my feet."

You have an equal chance dieing from a fall as being murdered with a firearm. 3 times that dieing in an auto. 7 times more likely dieing in an accident. 50 times more likely being aborted.

The CDC number on hospital patients die due to 'ooops' is several times higher than gun deaths. Preventable medical errors persist as the No. 3 killer in the U.S. – third only to heart disease and cancer – claiming the lives of some 400,000 people each year. Why isn't that a real 'National Health Emergency'?
[BREITBART] Sen. Cory Spartacus Booker U.S. Senator-for-Life from Noo Joisey, formerly the mayor of Newark. Booker is a candidate for president in 2020, running on a platform of Make America Newark. He once wrote an essay on how to grope babes. He is noted for having an imaginary friend named T-Bone... argued during the Democrat presidential debate on Wednesday that Americans need to talk more about transgender people. "Ferociously heterosexual" Cory Booker
"We do not talk enough about trans-Americans, especially African American trans-Americans, and even incredibly high rates of murder right now," he said.
He compared the transgender rights struggles to the civil rights of black Americans, recalling a time when they were lynched in America.
Booker also said that up to 30 percent of LGBT schoolchildren were afraid to go to school.
He then argued that Democrats needed to do more than just support the Equality Act proposed in Congress.
"We need to have a president that will fight to protect LGBTQ Americans every single day from violence," he said.

I don't agree much with Stephen Hawking, never have. He had some good insights, but he should have left it there, where he was at least close to right (maybe). But oh no, he had to spout off on "all the things" because it was expected, and he wanted the invites to the fancy parties. Glad he is finally gone.

EC, Transylvania should be very nice this time of year, but 'Transsiberian Railway' advisory is to keep your mouth tightly closed due to the high density of the flying masses of mosquitoes and other such vermin this time of year. Maybe goggles would also be prudent.

fight to protect LGBTQ Americans every single day from violence,
Don't we already have laws for that?
How about we equip all the 'at-risk' folks with sidearms? Or move them outta the Democratically-controlled inner cities? Or clean up the citi ... oh, never mind.

No Cory, we need to talk about your mental illness and your constant encouragement of mental illness in others.
Cory, you are a wackjob and need to live out your life in a nice padded cell. Because we know you would never avail yourself the discretion of a gentleman were it offered.
