Fauzia Wahab receives threatening letter from Taliban
Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Information Secretary Fauzia Wahab shared with reporters on Saturday a threatening letter that she received last week, apparently from the Taliban.

The letter contains highly derogatory remarks against her, the Pakistan Army, and President Asif Zardari, she told a press conference.

In copies of the letter she gave out to reporters, the unidentified sender threatens to kill her for criticising the Taliban in the media. The sender also makes allegations about the PPP leader's character, using abusive language. Fauzia Wahab said the letter was posted from some location inside Pakistan, but the post office stamp is illegible. She said however that the ongoing operation against the Taliban had full support of the people and political leaders of Pakistan, and had been highly appreciated by the international community.
