Jihadist rebels execute 7 civilians accused of spying for Syrian gov’t in Idlib

have executed seven civilians accused of spying on behalf of the Syrian government in the Idlib Governorate, local activists reported on Saturday.

these civilians and charged them with providing the government information on their organization.
Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham has carried out similar executions in the past, especially when they come under attack by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies.
The jihadist group has increased its local operations in Idlib following the Syrian Arab Army’s large-scale offensive in the northwestern countryside of the Hama Governorate.
