Jang/The Nation reports that representatives of two militant Muslim groups said Pakistani police in central Punjab raided mosques, homes and offices searching for activists and guns. "Police entered our homes, insulting our elders and women. They searched our homes for weapons and messed everything up," said a spokesman for the Jaish-e-Mohammad group, Hassan Burki. A provincial official confirmed the latest round of some 60 detentions saying the activists were being picked up on the instructions of the central government.
