| A Palestinian suicide bomber exploded in a billiard club south of Tel Aviv, killing at least 15 people and wounding at least 60 others. Reports indicate nearly the entire building in Rishon Lezion's new industrial area has collapsed as a result of the blast. Police report at least 15 people were killed. Firefighters are on the scene and are reporting at least 60 casualties. According to the Qatar-based al-Jazeera television news network, Hamas has claimed reponsibility for the Rishon Lezion bombing. However, a conflicting report indicates Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat's Fatah faction has claimed responsibility for the attack. Sharon's out of the country, visiting Bush. We knew it would come, if Hamas could pull it off... Will they go into Gaza now? Or later? Or will they hit al-Aqsa again? |
