| Two soldiers among 10 injured in Kashmir explosion |

| Ten people including two Indian security force personnel were injured in a grenade explosion set off by Islamic terrorists in Kashmir on Saturday, police said. The explosion was reported from the southern Kashmir town of Shopian, 50 kilometres south of Srinagar. "The grenade was hurled at a security force vehicle," the police spokesman said, adding it exploded against the vehicle sending splinters in all directions. "The condition of four of the eight civilians injured is serious," he said. No group has claimed responsibility for the explosion. The Bad Guys set the stage for this sort of thing by importing foreigners to join the jihad. If they're not your folks, it doesn't matter if a dozen or so get shrapnelled when you toss a grenade. If it was granny, back in Quetta or Rawalpindi they'd probably be more careful. It also doesn't say much for their training that they're as crummy as they are with grenades. They're forever bouncing off things and landing among the wrong people, or the goobers forget to pull the pins like that bunch that killed Lone did. Maybe their turbans are too tight? |
