| #1 Compare with the pessimistic Indian view over at Asia Times. Even though they're headlining a "review" of India-US ties, plans are ever closer to put US forces on the ground alongside Indians. (Hmm. Maybe they were inspired by 'Windtalkers' ...) If the Indos really are as jubilant as the Paks are porraying them, this is an interesting dissonance. Negotiating ploy? Well, the timing would be right. |
