Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, described the statement as balanced. "I cannot find in the statement anything that necessitates firing Chairman (Yasser) Arafat, but (I find) a call for reform in the Palestinian Authority and finding a new administration," he said. Mr Mubarak said Egypt was willing to help restructuring Palestinian institutions. That's because he didn't look very hard. Hosni has probably bought into the plan for kicking Yasser upstairs to President-for-Life Emeritus until he moves to the nursing home. |
