If you haven't seen it yet, read Lawrence Henry's "The Middle East War Nobody Knows". We tend to by-pass those accounts of Paleostinian "collaborators" being bumped off and their bodies mutilated by the mobs. But those are the Palestinians who think like we do, the ones we're trying to reach. They're the men and women who don't want to live in a dingy second-rate Arab dictatorship.
The word "collaborator" brings to mind Marshall Petain, the heady waters of Vichy and the Frenchies who snuggled up to the Germans during the Second World War. It raises visions of Vidkun Quisling and Seyss-Inquart. I think I'll start substituting the words "resistance fighter"; it has a better ring, and it's more descriptive, unless you're one of those who takes Paleostine Chronicle as truth.
