| A man identified by the IDF as an Islamic Jihad terrorist was killed in the village of Silat al Hartiyeh, west of Jenin, late Friday night. Abdel Haddi al-Omari was killed after fleeing from undercover Border Policemen who arrived in the village to arrest him, the radio said. The IDF said the soldiers fired warning shots in the air and called on him to stop. When he continued to run, they shot and killed him. Soldiers found an M-16 rifle next to his body. Alas, poor Abdel... IJ will no doubt vow dire revenge. I'm sure they'll give him a good send-off the Virginland, though... |
