Report: Germany Nabs 2 al-Qaida Suspects
2003-01-10
German authorities arrested two Yemeni men Friday on suspicion of belonging to Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida terror network, media reports said. Ntv television said the men were arrested in Frankfurt at the request of U.S. authorities. The mass-circulation Bild Zeitung said the men were arrested at Frankfurt international airport. The Interior Ministry refused comment and the Justice Ministry spokesman was not immediately available.

FOLLOWUP:

I think I have the breakdown in my head now: anybody who's not a mufti is a sheikh, unless they're an imam or a mullah, except that a mullah can also be a sheikh, and if he's a Shi'ite he's an ayatollah, not a mullah...

I think.
