| Northwest Pilot Arrested With Gun In Bag In New York |

| A Northwest Airlines pilot has been arrested after airport officials discovered a loaded gun in his his carry-on luggage at La Guardia International Airport in New York. The gun was reportedly found as the pilot was trying to board a flight for Detroit. He'd been scheduled to be the co-pilot. Robert B. Donaldson is charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon. Prosecutors say he could face up to 15 years in prison. "G'morning, ladies and gentlemen. This is your pilot. We're cruising at 30,000 feet, and I've just hijacked the plane..." |
