Afghan president to give 'most wanted' list to Pakistan
2003-04-23
Afghan President Hamid Karzai said Wednesday he would give Pakistan a list of ``most-wanted'' Taliban to be arrested and tried for crimes against the Afghan people. Afghanistan has given some names but the government will give a more specific list of names that 'we consider to be criminals of war against the Afghan people ... and we want them arrested,' Karzai told a small group of foreign journalists in Islamabad before returning to Afghanistan. It is extremely important for both Afghanistan and Pakistan to strategically address the question of extremism and terrorism in the interest of the people of the two countries, Karzai said.
Guess we'll see if anything more comes of this than the similar list India presented a year and a half ago.

#5  Why bother with this? I don't think for one minute that Pakistan is really going to seek out and arrest any of those on the Wanted Taliban list. If anything, it identifies without any doubt the ones that Pakistan WON'T track down.

#4  Wouldn't that be fun? We're up to about eight decks now, and I've been kicking myself because it's updated so sporadically... Wouldn't it be fun running down pictures?
