| Iraq War Support Slightly Up. Effectiveness of Anti-American Protesters Down. |

| EFL & Substance. Looks like the big pink tank from yesterday’s ‘protest’ in London is not having its intended effect! A new poll shows support for the war in Iraq has slightly risen in the past two weeks, with 56 percent of Americans now saying the situation there was worth going to war over. Fifty-four percent of Americans said that at the beginning of the month. Similarly, the Gallup poll shows a majority of Americans say the decision to go to war was the right thing to do, compared with 31 percent who disagree. Seventeen percent say it’s too soon to tell. ‘Too soon to tell’ if protecting 26 million people from a wood chipper was worth it? What’s more, 48 percent of Americans now say the war in Iraq has made the U.S. safer from terrorism, up from 45 percent last month. Do the other 55% have heads-up-ass-syndrome? Quick!
