Number 36 on board |
2004-02-03 |
A Singapore Armed Forces C-130 transport plane left on Tuesday morning for Iraq with 31 SAF personnel on board. Their mission is to help in the multinational reconstruction effort in Iraq. Over the next two months in the Middle East, they will carry out airlift, transportation and supply missions. And, did anyone else notice in the recent post about police training in Jordan that Jordan, Sweden, Finland and Austria are helping with the training even though they are not part of the 36 member coalition. |
