Two Pakistanis held hostage by Islamic militants on the Afghan border have been killed, a Pakistani government official said on Tuesday. The two district officials were among 14 government men captured by al Qaeda fighters and other militants in a Pakistani offensive launched on March 16. #2 I'm waiting for the rationalization to kick in. There's got to be some reason to put it all behind them and move on, thereby avoiding actual military operations. I'm not impressed with the Pak cops, but their army impresses me even less. |
