| Three people were killed and 50 buildings and vehicles set on fire by rebels in Thailand’s Muslim- majority southern province, Channel 5 reported, without saying where it got the information. Rebels set fire to schools, telephone booths, tractors and Buddhist temples in the Narathiwat province bordering Malaysia, the report said. One villager and two firemen were killed by gunmen, it said. |
