#10  It won't bother me if we don't impose the death penalty on this guy.

Sentence him to life in solitary confinement, and force him to watch porn videos 24/7. With no hands.

#9  Bah. I heard that an "understanding" was reached, but what I care about is that we get our hands on him and that we deal with him, period ...

#8  This actually irritates the shit out of me. The Brits seem very keen to dump this nasty piece of work on us Yanks-- but heaven forfend we should follow American law in dealing with him. The cowardice and moral preening of the Euros is simply disgustiing.

#7  Don't these numb numb jihad boys ever wonder who dreamed up the baloney about the 72?

#6  I personally am stumped as to how he gets the 72 without dying in battle, A. Jackson. Maybe that two hands and an eye gives him partial credit.

#5  If we don't kill him - how can he get his seventy two raisins?

#4  I don't know... the muslim brotherhood has a pretty strong recruitment in our prisons and he might be protected...

I think bomb-a-rama is on to something... probably will end up costing less than the price of the trial and will save us from having to see his ugly face everyday in the news during the trial.

#3  the other "ed" has it right. Put him in the most advantageous Federal Prison, and let the "locals" handle the situation. There are probably 9/11 survivors amongst them. It could be instructive.

Do they put a handless man in the general prison population?

#2  And waste a perfectly good airplane on this turd? I say let the inmates in Rykers introduce him to good old American prison hospitality. Too bad that without hands, he won't be able to return the favor with a reach around. Mightly unneighborly of him.

#1  Blunkett stressed that he would ideally like the case to be dealt with quickly.

A suggestion: Put Capt. Hook in a LearJet with a reduced fuel load (not enough to reach U.S. airspace) and keep him in a walled off section so that he can't see forward. When the plane is over the Atlantic, the pilots and other personnel bail out and the jet is allowed to plunge into the ocean.

Problem dealt with quickly, and no "execution". (as far as executions, U.S. style, are concerned)
