A man identified as Francisco Javier Rivera, who is said to have manufactured explosives for the F.A.R.C. (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia-Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) & for various terrorist attacks in Bogotä was captured by the police. The commander of the police in Bogotä, General Héctor GarcÃÂa said that Rivera is probably the author of a bombing attack against a bus which occured last Friday. According to General GarcÃÂa, Rivera is a member of the urban network of the F.A.R.C. The detained was found with various explosive charges ready to be used with remote control detonation systems. The Police Director, General Jorge Daniel Castro, offered a reward of fifty million Colombian pesos (about $18,215 U.S.) for information leading to the capture of persons involved in the Friday attack.
