| Saudi security forces, battling a wave of Al Qaeda attacks in the kingdom, arrested on Monday three wanted militants in the northern city of Tabuk, a security source said. One of the arrested men was believed to be on a list of 26 most wanted Al Qaeda suspects, the source said without naming him. An Interior Ministry official told Reuters he was checking reports of an incident in Tabuk. Al Qaeda militants have waged since 2003 a campaign of suicide bombings and shootings in the oil-rich kingdom aimed at driving Westerners out and hurting the economy and oil industry. |
