| The group led by al Qaeda ally Abu Musab al-Zarqawi said it beheaded two Iraqi National Guards in broad daylight in Mosul, a statement found on an Islamist site Friday said. "They were both slaughtered in Mosul in front of a large group of people," the statement by Al Qaeda Organization of Holy War in Iraq said, adding it happened Thursday afternoon. The claim, dated Nov. 18, could not be immediately verified. |

| #3 I can see it now. The insurgents promising to look into this, and punish those responsible. The whole Arab world condeming and demanding punishment for the soldiers who killed unarmed men. Right? Yeah right. This alone, should get the marine off. |

| #1 Wonder if al-Jezeera will deign to broadcast it? Fire up their core audience. Also why are Iraqis surrendering to Wahabis and Baathists? The Iraqis have seen what happens when the "militants" get hold of prisoners. |
